im just gonna take a page out of their books i guess. i won't say a word, feed just enough to make the game a loss, intentionally throw clutch moments in the game, not say a word and then silently report everyone who dared get mad. i bet you they'll get actions taken against them before i do.

that's what the smart trolls do anyway.

the trick to trolling in league of legend? never expressly say you're trolling. hell, you can troll your ass off, play victim in chat logs, and report everyone who got mad at your trolling. but guess what, riot won't know you were trolling. the only thing riot will see is a bunch of people flaming a "poor innocent player"

If you had seen his chat logs (which he took down the thread on his own accord) you would see why he got banned.

Also reporting DOES work. Its just sad that this player fails to understand that now. They just want to be mad at the world I guess.

im not complaining about getting banned. i fell for the exact trick this thread is talking about. i got punished. im over it. now i'm just pointing out this exploit to everyone else.

also reporting does NOT work unless its the three cases i said at the top.

Chat, afk, gross intentional feeds(talking 20+deaths and 0 kills/assists)

Uh huh right. Anyways trolls DO get banned. Thing is though: They don't go complaining on the boards since they KNOW what they are doing is wrong. Its harder to correctly ban someone for "Trolling".

Example: Someone made a thread once (it promptly got deleted by the mods) and wanted the person that played was playing Corki mid (which was a VERY valid option at the time) in their game to "Go die in a fire" and probably thought they were "Trolling". True trolling is harder to detect then chat because of how much easier it is to get the chat. They have to actually dig and make sure that someone IS trolling before banning them. And side note: A chat restriction won't do much (if anything) to a player who trolls via gameplay. Hence why it has to be dealt with differently.

riot has stated before that they can't just assume people are trolling based on gameplay unless it's gross intent feeds. know what the reason they cited for that was? they can't look into people's heads to see if they're trolling. sorry bub. you wrong.

well, for the rest. if you don't openly admit to trolling someone, you can get away with just about anything. i could play bard right now, and ult my team at the worst possible situation every time. i myself, know i'm doing this on purpose. but, if i say nothing all game, and just silently troll riot will chalk it up to me being at a worse skill level/not knowing how to play instead of actual trolling. because this game's report system is a JOKE

at the same time, while i'm trolling my team might be hurling insults at me. they obviously know i'm trolling because i'm ruining teamfights. but again, they can't prove it. know what i can do though? i can report all of them for toxic(if they were swearing or calling me names) and GUESS WHAT? they'll be penalized and not me.

now that i explained it to you in terms a monkey could understand, do you get it now?
