Jax, the Grandmaster at arms.
Hello! I like Jax, but I think we can all agree that he has been in a rough spot for a while now, and he is fairly out of date. Let's have a little discussion about jax.
When I think of jax, not only do I think of a master duelist, I think of a champion that** can adapt to any situation**. Jax has always been the champion that could build anything and scale, and that hybrid nature of jax is what really defines him in my opinion. He can be built AD, AP, tank, or any combination of those things.
And that to me is what makes Jax the Grandmaster at arms**, he is the master of versatility who can adapt and build against whatever threat he needs to**, that is what makes him such an amazing duelist. The thing is, I don't think Jax has a bad kit. For how old he is, I think he has aged spectacularly, his only real issue in my opinion is his age itself and how old his abilities feel. They have that awkward 2012 league stink to them.
What I would do personally is remove his passive, tie it to his W, and give him a passive that cements his status as the versatile grandmaster at arms.** Reward Jax for not only playing hybrid, but also for going one way or the other. Make jax WANT to build however he wants, to fit the situation.** His ultimate needs changed as well. Make the passive more the focus or else simply move the passive on his ult into his actual passive, then reduce the cooldown and duration on his ult and allow it to be used reactively instead of preemptively, more like a karma ultimate.
really needs is a good damage item after
every other item he builds is pretty meh like
. They should just get rid of the phantom hit passive on
and Thunderlords
