Yeah, lets delete item 3147 then it would be fucking hilarious to see someone telling you a champ with no passive, W that literally does nothing and a lategame knockup bot who can "1shot anyone" [in your fking dream ofc] is fine.

He's not a tank, not a bruiser cause you build raw AD and still wont deal much damage unless item 3147 . he's not a diver, no matter what you say he'll never be a diver, he doesn't have the kit of a diver, take Rengar this dude as an example, all of a sudden got changed to a diver and fits his role, although he can still 1shot anyone, and Wukong definitely is not an assassin, doesnt have a reliable gap closer or a way out, he's exactly like the old Talon, a miss or hit, and totally a miss in D3+. He's been out of meta for a very very long time. You just helped Yasuo because the poor fella was doing poorly after preseason patch,What about MonkeyKing ? "He's fine now, there are more priority champs that should be worked on". Ok, who the fuck is a priority now? Nunu who gained a significant changes to his passive? Chogath mr press R? Amumu dude got old kit but didn't you give him some changes in S7? DrMundo he just got a new passive and ability icons! Swain soon to be reworked? Irelia soon to be reworked? Aatrox he gets changed/buffed every other patch, doesnt he? Karthus low play ratio but didnt receive R buff lately? Ryze guaranteed reworked every year/2years?

where the hell are those priority champs you talking about? besides Volibear and Skarner "which is doing better than wu", I can't see shit, maybe I'm blind, so enlighten me Riot!

I'm sorry what? A W that does nothing? Have you played Wukong? That ability is the crux of what seperates good wukongs from great wukongs. Juking, stalling out for cooldowns during a 1v1, taking somebody by suprise from stealth, body blocking skillshots with the clone. Nothing? Are you high?

Yeah I'm D3, I'm high, but not high enough, still people in this elo know how to deal with this binary useless ability. you see this aint gold or silver, you need to measure the effectiveness of an entire kit, get the champ to high elo then you'd know whats useful and whats not.

MonkeyKing is the reason why I started playing this unbelievably toxic game. It's sad seeing everything change in the game but your main. 4 seasons mate, not a single adjustment, I'm sure you'd be upset if your main was in such spot.

I was a Mordekaiser main. Everything was fine until CertainlyT decided it would be funny if Morde were a bot laner. Reeeaaaal funny. Fortunately I found a new champ to main, Sion. Never looked back

Dude seriously you can get 3 dblade stacks in 3 seconds if you play Wu right wait in bush q, w auto, run to bush which is like half a sec away, e auto

Nah, Wu Kong isn't a diver...

(Stealth with W, point and click dash to back line with E)

Wu Kong's kit is the definition of a diver, and though his passive is fairly invisible (especially with how much pen/damage there is in the game right now) its still something that helps him survive when he DIVES into the middle of a team for that game changing knock up ultimate.

Divers have ways to bi-pass the front lines of a fight and attack the back line... Wu's W and E do this very well.

His kit is a little out dated, his passive is boring. But he is a diver.

Wukong was a good champion before Duskblade. So... what's your point? He consistently had a 54% win rate, even though not many played him since he was never really in the spotlight. When I clicked on this thread, I thought you were going to say if we deleted Black Cleaver he would stink, but you didn't. Dude, don't know your issue. Wukong is perfectly fine outside of a slightly outdated, potentially "could be more juicy" design. At least he has a game plan and can perform some pretty fun jukes with his W. Other champions like Volibear, Nunu, Mordekaiser, and Skarner are just sitting there, suffering from terrible designs that force them to never be in the spotlight and be nerfed if they ever do accidentally end up there.

Basically, Wukong is like a dusty, but still operational piece of equipment. He's dusty and you can feel the age when playing him, but he still does a good job when he's used and he has aged overall pretty well despite his lack of updates. Besides, his win rate is doing fine right now, not like he is suffering.

As a plat support main, I really am pretty happy he's out of the meta, I've always had trouble against really good Wu Kong players, but I do concede, he's a bit out of the loop currently.

I'm curious - what would you buff/change to put him back into a 'healthy' state?

I honestly don't care for Duskblade.

I'd rather keep Wu alive with other items than try and murk the enemy ADC before I'm deleted.

Anyone who thinks Wukong is good or even OP, you're low elo. I'm sorry but, you literally cannot play Wukong in d5+. Playing him top is worthless, you literally get outscaled and countered by any tank or juggernaut. Mid lane he can be a cheese pick, but play malza/ori/syndra and shit like that, you lose by default. In the jungle he gets 1v1ed by a red buff and he's an invitation for invades.

Not saying he wouldn#t be weal without duskblade, but that holds true for about all it's prime users. His passive isn't fancy, but upt to 40 of both def stats theoretically is quite nice, though at the current damaged creeped state of the game, defstats hardly make a difference. his W is most important spell and the most defineing abillity in his kit, without that instant stealth, he'd be nothing but a worse version of xin. My main issue with him is that his ult feels pretty underwhelming asides from the knockup. It could use a slightly higher ratio and mostly an increased tick rate, the once per sec makes it rather unreliable(flash into someone between ticks and they can get away without knockup) and the synergie with BC on bruiser builts is much worse than you'd think.
