Spamming surrenders or constantly begging for it doesn't change my or most people's minds...

It just makes me and others report you for Negative Attitude. The fact that you just fed the enemy and then decided to just bring the team down even more by pestering us to give up because of YOU will only make me say "No" or drag the box off my screen and then report you after.

If people don't wanna surrender, **then putting up 7 votes or constantly asking "PLZ FF" won't change their minds, it will just annoy them and get you reported. **

The funniest thing about this? I actually got a "Report feedback" message saying someone was punished because I reported them for guess what? Yeah.. constantly spamming surrender after dying 5 times in lane and only typing premature GGs and saying "Plz FF" and spamming surrender. The guy wasn't verbally harassing us, the only thing he ever typed was "GG" or "Plz FF", but he still got punished.

Just stop.

TIMEOUT! I said report someone for SPAMMING constant surrender votes that keep failing 1/4 while also constantly being annoying and negative in the chat. NOT REPORT SOMEONE FOR STARTING ONE SURRENDER VOTE OR REPORTING THE TEAM FOR SURRENDERING. Learn to read.

On the flip side of that why do some people insist on dragging out games where you are just getting your shit pushed in and the other team is clearly taking their time to enjoy it? When the other team has 4x your kills and you don't have a tower down yet, it's time to call it.

You are quite high and mighty. Sometimes I'm just having a horrible game and want to just leave so I FF a lot at that point. It doesn't help when my teammates already flame me for doing badly sometimes.

Reporting somebody for trying to surrender...

I hope you sire get punished for abusing the report system and falsely report players

/ffing every five minutes is barley spam, and not reportable they want to give up get over it

now if they are spamming "GG pls ff/ggpls ff pls/ff pls/ff" that doesnt fall under negative attitude that falls under spamming

negative attitude is something like: top feeds 10 kills five minutes in and bot wants to five up meanwhile mid is 25/0 but they keep pointing out the negatives which imo shouldnt be punishable either, somebody is being negative? mute them and get over it, if you let another players emotions control your emotions theres an issue there

not every play will be happy to lose a game or be playing in one where he/she is doing bad

I mostly just click it every time it's up cause I'm bored and don't feel like playing that round anymore. Bonus points if it annoys the try hard nevargiveupwecanwinthisgais crowd. It's a game. I don't care if I win or lose, I care if I'm having fun. I've put up surrender votes when I'm winning just like when I'm losing cause a match has lost my interest. So, I'll keep putting up that ff vote while you are free to click no if you want. Just don't expect me to be performing at 100% when my heart isn't in it anymore.

I do agree that filling the chat with spam to "please ff" is not good to do. That being said The vote to surrender does have a cool down already to gate spamming. The vote to surrender is a show of how everyone, including the person starting the vote, stands on their perceived chance of success in any given game. As long anyone voting to surrender still plays to the best of their ability I see no problem with them voicing their opinion about whether or not their team can win. It is just as much someone's right to try to surrender as it is anyone's right to say yes/no.

Blade of Justic8/27/2015, 3:26:07 PM3 votes

Fair enough, but when the match is 36 to 10 in the enemy's favor, they have 2 dragons when we have none and they've taken 4 towers while we haven't touched theirs, for god's sake, just end this.

Steel Blossom8/26/2015, 10:05:07 PM3 votes

lol what if it's the other way around, where the person trying to surrender has the best KDA and farm of both sides, but the team is still behind by like 10k gold? Do I have the right to not want to carry people who clearly does not even know the game?

Partholonian8/27/2015, 12:50:04 AM3 votes

IMO, if a surrender attempt is voted down, the same player should have to wait at least 10 min to start another. Different players should be able to start after 2 min or something like that, if it was a "one last chance for a good teamfight" and you got aced.

If nobody has changed their mind since the last vote, it's not going to pass anyway, so why allow it to be initiated?

Indeed, you could take it further and make it so that only players who voted no last time (or didn't vote) can initiate a new vote. If there aren't any players who voted no before but want to surrender now, then you know it's going to fail, so allowing the vote to take place at all is just an occasion for negativity.

Wow, so if you press the surrender button, you automatically have "negative attitude"? So, if I say, "don't rush BT on ADC ", I guess that might as well be verbal abuse. Yes saying, Ff@20, gg or so is negative attitude. But spamming surrender isn't.

Because of my goal to reach gold, I will never surrender. I feel that you always have a chance to win the game. Example: Lost lane to a Varus and Morgana playing Jinx. He started the game 8-0 with other lanes losing as well. Morale was pretty low but I kept positive and encouraging my teammates. Told them that we scale a lot better than they do considering I was playing Jinx (devourer xin and Azir as well), we just needed time. Stalled the game out, defended well and when we had the chance after winning a teamfight me and azir did baron. After that we pushed our advantage and won. Just staying positive and encouraging your teammates can win you the game.

Vhalthoria8/26/2015, 11:41:47 PM2 votes

One thing is accepting the game is lost and get over it in order to jump onto another game fast, and another is being fucking stubborn and make other people waste their time in a game that is already lost. It is good to know the difference.

CIownface8/27/2015, 2:00:48 AM2 votes

score doesn't matter so much. So silly when people bring that up as the deciding factor of who is "useless" or "im better than you cuz look my score" It just shows at what stage of your champion's power spike you are at (on time, ahead, or behind).

And anyways a person who is 0/5 could possibly be more useful than a person who is 5/0 depending on each players knowledge of the game and mechanical skill.

bakenhunter8/27/2015, 12:15:17 AM1 votes

The typically times I will be the first to bring up the surrender vote is if the enemy team has a large turret and kill lead, also helps if this happens before the 20 min mark. Now i hardly ever bring it up in chat and I continue to ping and work with my team, But if we have all three nexuses down, they have an over 40 kill lead and they just got baron, while we haven't even gotten to their tier two turrets, after like 6 surrender votes you should kinda realize that you are only prolonging the games end.

Ceronous8/27/2015, 3:51:42 AM1 votes

I'm all for not surrendering over one bad teamfight, or if you can see a strategy to win (such as you see the fed adc is always out of position, you just gotta get the pick). However, when you refuse to surrender at all, ever, based on the principle of "Not one step back", I honestly should be able to report you for trolling and griefing friendly players. When a game is lost, all the time you remain in that game is time I could be spending on trying to win a different game.

In summation: Surrender is in the game for a reason, please think about the situation before blindly pressing no.

Sneak Dog8/27/2015, 10:39:40 AM1 votes

You can drag the surrender vote popup off-screen. Just drag it from one of its borders. I do it all the time, just typing /ff in the chat when I finally do want to surrender (and then watch that fail because someone else was spamming surrender prematurely...).

ThatToxicTroll8/27/2015, 4:36:03 PM1 votes

refuse my surrender? i will feed intentionally to help you change your mind Trundle

RisenDarkKnight8/27/2015, 4:49:43 PM1 votes

What is wrong with trying to surrender (multiple times)? If you are losing badly and not having any fun there is nothing wrong with trying to surrender and it should not be reportable. Obviously giving up and afking or not trying after the team starts losing is bad, but if you keep trying your hardest I dont' see how it is bad to try surrender votes. If your whole team just got aced and they enemy team got baron, is it that crazy to think your team might vote "yes" this time? If I'm getting destroyed I will keep trying to surrender. This game is meant to be fun so I use the surrender feature if I'm not having it. I will do my best to help my team if they vote no, but it's bullshit if I get reported for trying to surrender if I'm positive in chat and try my best just for initiating surrender votes when I'm playing with "never surrender" type people.
