"adc is broken so much impact wtf"

Meanwhile the highest winrate of all adcs is twitch at barely 51% atm.

While every other role has multiple 55% or higher champs.

But hey, lets nerf adcs more so every single one falls into kai sa levels (sub 45%) right?

champion winrates say nothing on the impact of a class.

both team have an adc, one wins, the other loses.

champion winrates say nothing on the impact of a class.

both team have an adc, one wins, the other loses.

Both teams also have a top, a mid, a jungler and a support.

Guess by that logic every role should be at dead on 50% wr right?

And their top/mid/jg/supp aren't all the same class, dude.

Top isn't tank-tank matchups 100% of the time.

Jg isn't assassin-assassin matchups 100% of the time.

Mid isn't mage-mage matchups 100% of the time.

Supp isn't enchanter-enchanter matchups 100% of the time.

Classes are swapped around there and numbers will change as a result. For ADC, there's a marksman in every game. One wins, one loses. All of the time.

No, it only shows if some specific champions are stronger than others.

But my point is that all ADC together will end up on ~50% winrate if you take games played into account, because both teams have one. So no matter if the class has 0% impact on the outcome of the game or 100%, in the end one ADC loses and one ADC wins. Winrate only says if some specific champions are strong or weak, but says nothing about the class itself.

Mids can top.

Tops and can jungle.

Junglers can top (and some can mid).

Tops can mid.

Even supports can mid / top / jungle; several champions mostly seen as support are still extremely potent solo laners (Morg, Brand).

No one else can adc. I mean sure you can technically take Ahri bot, rush tri force, and go "lul I'm adcing!". It's not the same though, no one else can fill the role in the same way.. Except Morde.

Both team have a top and a mid but those mid and top are different champions from different classes

adcs come all from the same class it makes no fcking sense to compare their win rate to other roles

you can only compare adc's in rate to an other adc's win rate

They can have something to say about the impact of a class. If a class has no champion that has either extremely high or low winrates, then A) The champions are balanced relative to the role or B) The role has little impact, due to the fact that it does not matter the champion strength, the role will still have the same impact.

However, ADC is in a weird position. The only times winrates in this class are really high is in the case of either insanely overtuned champions who are hard to lose your team a game with(Ezreal pre nerfs), or champions who can have major teamfight impact (MissFortune pre- meta shift).

Aside from that, ADC statistically has no really high winrate champion. However, there are really low winrate champions.

This leads me to believe that your ADC pick does not matter unless it is not super weak. This most likely means means that ADCs do not have a huge influence on whether or not they win the game, but poor ADCs can easily lose a team the game.

and that's basically the state of the game.

In early game, junglers have a way too big impact, but when the game is still even when mid game comes, better pray that you have a decent bot lane.

This is pretty much the correct way to view it.

Those winrates just mean that ADC are balanced against eachother, it means nothing about the other 8 players in the game. Who eactly hve the highest win rates and what is there job in games?

It shows that adcs have very low agency/impact on the game atm, those arent 1v1 adc win rates, those are 5v5 team game win rates.

Despite what this horribly biased place seems to think.

jesus fuck dude.

Both teams have an adc specifically in the bot lane.

One wins, one loses. EVERY. GAME.

ADC either are generally balanced against eachother and have a big impact, or have little impact with he same balance. Or they are not at all balanced and have little impact.

RenownedWheat424 votes

Really?

There's an ADC in every game. Their only competition is other ADCs. One will win, one will lose, all the time. Winrate in this instance means literally nothing.

agreed nerf all ADC 120%

Come on dude you can do better than this.

When you articulate an argument with more than just Win Rates in it then people will read and maybe even upvote your post.

I don't always agree with you but your clearly passionate about the game. Might be pretty quixotic of me but I'm gonna try to participate in bringing change to how boards behaves.
