Katarina has now 53.5% winrate
that rework sure made her harder to play
pre rework kat never reached a winrate this high

And a 48% winrate in bronze. The Katarina rework was the only assassin rework that was actually a success and deserves credit where it is due.
The goal was to make her harder to play but more rewarding when mastered, that way she wasn't a walking ball of stats dumpstering low elo and doing nothing in higher elos cause of her binary kit. It worked.
doesnt mean that a champion needs to have a passive with no cd that does 100% ap ratio damage.
on comparison. leblanc's does 80% and has lower base damage. and has a coolwon and is not AOE.
Tbh, based on your rambling and incoherent arguments you don't deserve to have an opinion on champion balance, but yes, Katarina is overtuned right now. She needs a slight nerf.
A passive that takes 1.25 seconds to work and can be avoided by displacing Katarina or moving away from the dagger.
Whenever I see someone throwing out win-rates all I can think of is "Which elo, region, and is it actually relevant to whatever you're at right now?"
All regions in Diamond. I was curious too, it is a little weird seeing as we are in a CC tank meta , so you would think her winrate was even lower.
lol. tank kat's damage?
her passive does more damage than leblancs and has no cooldown
her passive alone does about 1k in damage per proc. so she litearlly EQ kills the squishie. if your a tank you will die to her if you tank her passive and ult
I have been playing against a lot of katarinas lately. the damage she does. miind you being aoe not single target. is the highest in the game for any mage. l
Here is the problem with people going after winrates based on high-elo. That winrate number doesn't mean shit to people in Gold or below because they aren't playing against Diamond players.
Something Phreak pointed out in one of his patch notes is that champion winrates and item builds of a certain elo are things people shouldn't pay attention to if they aren't within that elo range.
Sure, higher elo picks slightly effect lower elos because "It's what the higher elo players are using", but unless you are within that elo range people need to focus more on what's working in their range because higher elo champions and builds are optimized against people of THAT elo not against a lower or higher elo. Chances are you won't find too much success with a Diamond build if you're in Bronze-Gold because the people you are against aren't Diamond+ players so the build isn't optimized against them.
This is why I get annoyed when people give out winrates without elo context. lol
Yeah, I agree. Even in gold a lot of times I have to build Kha more bruiser then full damage because I am just flat out not tanky enough to carry when I die to fast. Or I will build more damage on tanks then normal like a
on moakai because I cant expect my carries to do enough damage lol
Katarina has now 53.5% winrate
And I care because...?
Thats because prerework had a garbage early game and was so easy to shut down and be useless for the whole game
