Ok but her ward hop was removed because wardhops + shunpo resets would've been absolutely ridiculous If Lee ever got reworked maybe one day he'd lose wardhops depending on the kit changes.

I think it's because ward hops are a much larger part of Lee Sin's current combos and play styles than ward hops ever were for Katarina. While I'm not going to comment on whether it should or shouldn't be a part of his kit, I can see why they wouldn't just take it out of his kit because "hey we took it out of this person's kit, why not him too?"
