ARAM isn't random anymore

Almost every game i see almost the same teams. Sona Nidalee Xerath Ziggs Katarina And any other OP poke champion [i know they are all squishy champions who can be """"easily"""" stomped on. You need teamwork and balls to go into multiple projectiles and feeling that your team follows you. Problem is you can't do it in solo Q. Winning against smurf team is too goddamn hard.]

I know Riot doesn't really care about ARAM (nor Dominion or TT) Right now i have 1237 won games in ARAM and even more defeats. I do care about ARAM. And thus it's pissing me off that Riot ignores easy fix ideas. I'm tired playing against smurf army time after time. Facing exactly the same champions every 20 minutes.. Just today i've played against 6 xeraths, 5 sonas and +/- 5 katarinas few nidalees and 1 unlucky garen.

Riot. You've earned alot of money on HA champion skins hype. Be fair now and don't turn away just cause it's convinient. Here are some solutions: 1.) Make all champions free (i know it won't happend) 2.) combine all players champion pools, so with just 1 non-smurf player in team getting OP champion is rarer 3.) Add 5 bans per team before random happens. We will never see Sona, Nidalee and few other champs ever again. 4.) Add 10 random champions to each players champion pool. 5.) And probably 4709237 other easy fixes that players already mentioned.

I'm sure i'll get downvoted by ARAM abusing smurf army, but that's how some of us, ARAM fans, feel.

P.S Where's our ARAM mod? Do we still have one? Or does he just gets money while doing nothing?

ARAM stop being random the moment people realize it's was random with a pool of the champions you own. It's one reason why I rarely play arama anymore. It's terrible because majority of the time people just play on an account that has the good champs!

They really need to start having all the champs available in this mode only! I know they can do that especially since they have it to where I'd you go to Internet cafe (a select few I'm not sure if it's available in the US) you'll get I believe an ip boost and all champs unlocked when playing there! So we know they can do it for the system they have now! I just hope they can fix it!

Riot should unlock ALL champions on ARAM. Nothing more.

Idk, I've never really seen many smurfs in ARAM. Maybe pre-30, but I didn't play much of that back then.

There are few definitions of smurfs like: sealclubbing where better players stomp on newbies or ARAM smurfs, accounts with OP ARAM champions only.

And Right now in EUNE there is more ARAM smurfs than legit players.

Yup. I'm an ARAM smurf. That explains why my match history is full of SR games. :D

If that's the case, that sucks. There have been a bunch of threads about making every champ free in aram, but if we want to make it truly random, we would have to take out rerolls as well, and I doubt people would like that.

But you get the drill, don't you? I bet you've already noticed champions who appear almost always in ARAM games.. Ez, Ziggs, Nids, Sonas, Xeraths.. Alot of them

I disagree. I play a fair amount, and never see any significant op only teams. Always seems pretty random to me.

So I like the idea of giving a few bans. No harm there because there's a chance the system isn't going to roll those champs anyways. I think going deeper than that would make the game a bit too much like SR. I love me some SR, but sometimes I just wanna relax and have some fun. ARAM used to provide that. People that rarely play ARAM don't get to see the smurf accounts. The smurfs rise in the unseen ranking pretty quickly as their win ratio will obviously be pretty decent.

Those that complain about it not being random anymore with bans haven't seen the problem being established; primarily that it's not random. There are some good solutions for leveling the playing field a little up in the main thread, but adding bans is the quickest and probably the cheapest (for Riot) to implement.

I know they don't impress that they in any way want to balance ARAM, and that's fine. It would be a pain in the arse. I get that. However, when there are seven champs with over a 60% win rate in a game with no team comp, we might wanna talk about making it fun again.

They recently added the snowballs from the PoroKing subgame, which helps the initiators TONS. If we're lucky we can start cracking through those terrible poke comps. Frankly though, I'd rather just get some bans out with my finger in the air to the smurfy bastards and tell them that NO, they can't play Ziggs, Nid, Sona.

Basically, biased ARAM is super lame. So Saianna is right, we either open all the champs and make it random, or give us a bonus for having more than 6 champs in our pool. Maybe 1 ban for every 20 champs one team has over the other? (Summoner 1-5 champ totals vs. Enemy Summoner 1-5 champ totals) That way having only one smurf on your team doesn't screw you TOO hard. Having a premade of 5 smurfs makes your game hilarious as you only get to use free week champs after all of the bans. XD SUCK IT SMURFS!!!!
