Why is Rageblade being nerfed because an ADC or 2 use it too well?

For reference, let's just start with stats on champions who aren't these two ADCs just to show that they aren't broken.

Master Yi has a 46% winrate; playrate is below 10%. I let that speak for itself. https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/masteryi/jungle/diamond "But Taric + Yi combo." Then nerf Taric's ability to solo lane. Reduce damage vs minions or something. Or, just nerf Zeke's Harbinger since that item is really strong right now and I am sure Taric+Yi involves that item just like Kayle+Yi used Ardent Censer.

Kayle is a 50% winrate with a below 5% pickrate. That's some of the healthiest statistics ever. https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/kayle/top/diamond

Jax barely builds Rageblade, and his Trinity build is already being nerfed. Why nerf both build options for Jax? https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/jax/top/diamond

I'm a little surprised at Aatrox's winrate being pretty high, but let's be honest: it's Aatrox and it's just some mains. Trinity Sterak's is something Aatrox used because of his passive giving base AD, and that's being nerfed, leaving him with his Rageblade BoRK build. https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/aatrox/top/diamond

So, clearly "not AD Carry champions" are NOT overbearing with Rageblade. What about the three ADCs, Varus, Kog'maw and Kai'Sa?

Varus's stats aren't too good either, being almost as bad as Master Yi's. https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/varus/adc/diamond But let's, for sake of example, pretend for some reason that Varus is overpowered with Rageblade right now. What would be an appropriate nerf? Make his passive scale with permanent attack speed so he can't gain a shit load more attack speed form Rageblade's stacking with his passive up. It doesn't hit other builds and clearly targets the Rageblade over-synergy.

Kog'maw is doing decently, but the Hurricane nerfs hit him, the fleet and base stat nerfs make him weak to poke. Statistically, he's fine. https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/kogmaw/adc/diamond

Now we're left with Kai'Sa since no one else looks statistically overpowered being a Rageblade user.https://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/kaisa/adc/diamond "But Kai'Sa was already nerfed." Well, she still has a 60% banrate and an above 20% pickrate, so she might still be an issue. If the argument to not nerf Kai'sa is that she's already nerfed, then Riot should stay consistent and NOT nerf Rageblade because that would nerf Kai'Sa again, just like how they didn't nerf Cho'gath because they nerfed Stoneplate and "double-down nerfs on items and champs, no need to go there."

Rageblade champions aren't statistically issues right now, and Riot's own logic says they shouldn't double nerf on items and champions. Singed could be nerfed instead, instead of waiting half a season like Ardent Censer. (Though its probably Singed using Rylai's and Reverie too well rather than Singed himself. There's also Banner of Command he uses.)

It's probably because technically the highest DPS autoattack builds include Rageblade regardless of using crit or onhit.

ofc that totally disregards the tradeoffs of taking Rageblade instead of a lifesteal item and things like that.

Barely anyone gets the luxury of getting to build lifesteal anymore without going out of their core build. With a few exceptions like Fiora and ADCs that can build BotRK. Its not really a tradeoff at that point

You don't give up that much for Bloodthirster or Death's Dance because they have a ton of AD.

Other options to consider: Maw, GA, and Mercurial Scimitar

My point is that for champions without onhit effects, Rageblade is a luxury item that gives you more damage instead of defense, utility, or sustain.
