Because Riot refuses to make some items melee only
Iceborn gauntlet should be a strictly melee item, but yet it's abused by Ezreal/Viktor
Black cleaver was suppose to be only for melees, but that was nerfed into the fucking ground and given an awkward build path because ADCs abused it

Did you perhaps consider it being "Viktor is just strong with this item"? Or it being Sheen items being generally OP across the board? Or are you just doing the same boring argument of it being ranged always abusing things to survive melees?
james2k2 votesIt's ridiculous really. Instead of making a simple change that fixes cancer while also not punishing melees, they decide to nerf melee items into the ground to prevent ADC abuse. So ADCs just go back to their old items and suddenly melee champs have no good items, so effectively a melee nerf because ADCs were too strong.
