If Lucian was a Mid laner...

On the original champ spotlight of Lucian, riot did say Lucian was a capable mid/bot laner. And it is true, I've only play Lucian mid lane both AP and AD and he is able to go up against the likes of Yasuo, Zed and even Syndra if he knows what he is doing.

You simply have to poke them down with your Q (if AD) or W (if AP), then go in, ignite ult for the kill. If you don't do this you will likely get blown away in a full on 1v1.

He is also safe in mid lane because he can use his dash to dodge skill shots and counter attack.

This leads me to believe that if an ADC is capable in mid lane, then he is inherently stronger than the average bot lane ADC. Hence, taking that ADC bot lane give him an inherent advantage.

And that's the problem, Lucian is an ADC that can play mid lane, but people only play him bot lane and he tends to destroy his opponents there. I mean, if Lucian can take down ZED/Syndra who have insane burst, what is a twitch/kog mow ADC going to do to him.

So, my question is, if Lucian was played only in mid lane, would this solve the problem with him destroying bot. He would be going up against challenging opponents vs those that roll over and die?

Then the other ADCs can rejoice cause they won't have to face him again.
