In Bronze, we need more tools
If Riot really gave a shit about the player experience, we'd be allowed to say "I never want to queue with this guy again." If Riot wanted to actually clean up the dumpster that is Bronze, they'd remove people from ranked for a few games if they AFK'd. If Riot really wanted resolve people dicking around, they'd give us an option to queue for ranked where everyone had to have Mastery 4 on a champ to play them. Or to see if they're using wifi or not.
I can only conclude that they don't. They don't encourage people who aren't ranked-ready to try normals. There's no incentive for people to learn. I'm so god damn tired of people saying "I just had a bad game" as an excuse for why they went 0/8 coming out of the lane phase. For not pining MIA, or blaming lag multiple times in a game.
What happens down here isn't normal. It's fucking obvious. I don't care if you've sucked. I want you to know a champ, their build, and the counters. I don't want you to try shit out in ranked, I don't care if you just boxed a brand new skin for a champ you didn't know you owned, and I certainly don't care if you have to go soon. The punishments for fucking up 4 other people's time needs to be so severe that people don't accidentally go into ranked. Any trends in shit performance need to be met with warnings and suggestions that they learn a fucking champ for awhile.
I don't think I should be diamond. But I'm warding, pinging, dying infrequently at worst, pushing objectives, and playing a cadre of champs I know well. It shouldn't be the case that I'm sitting at the bottom of Bronze 5 with zero LP. You want to clean up toxicity in this game, do something that says you give a shit about players more than banning someone who violated the flagrant rules, and start banning morons who show up to troll intentionally or otherwise.
