How Do You Deal With Fed Assassins as a Squishy Champ

Because it seems like every game I'm forced to just accept that fact that no matter where I am on the map, even in my own base, I can get 1 second bursted. I've had fed assassins run through turrets into my base just to kill me. I can't farm I can't go in the jungle the only safe place is in fountain.

I play mostly support, my second played role is adc. The only thing I've had somewhat work, is play Yuumi and the second an assassin appears on my binded partner I spam my heal and hope the heal and Athene's is enough to save them.

It seems like there really is no counter once they are fed. There really isn't anywhere you can go that is safe. They can get into base, behind your frontline, there is nowhere you can safely farm if you have to. Traveling with a teammate is pointless because you are bursted down before your friend can press a key.

I'm legit asking, what can you do in this situation. They make the game so unfun to play.

You really can’t.

People are going to say resistances. That’s a lie. Armor and mr do not work anymore.

People will say hp. That’s also a lie. You are likely being overkilled by 2-3x your healthbar.

People will say vision. *laughs in item 3147 *

Honestly. The best you can hope for anymore is that they are stupid to run straight at you and let you cc them.

You can't. You auto lose. That's how fed assassins are right now.

Morons will tell you that you're supposed to work with your team, but that doesn't mean shit when they can kill you in less than one second and still escape scott free. At the end of the day, they can kill someone on your team with very little risk, immediately turning it into a 4v5.

If the answer is to have a fed assassin of your own, then...I guess that's right...but it's kind of stupid.

you wait for the assassin to kill someone else with all their moves, then you strike.

Buy at leasf one defensive item with health it makes a huge difference. Throw in a randuins in your build. You will still hurt them and you wont get one shot

Depends on the assassin. In most cases, you can beat them with a well timed flash.

Zed when he ults you, flash away the exact moment he becomes targetable. That way, you're out of his E/AA range and you've likely dodged his Q's.

...but now that he can W-E-Q-W-AA and instagib somebody with Duskblade+Electrocute, you're just boned if he's at that point.

Talon keep an eye on your peripherals for the ring of blades so he doesn't sneak up on you. If you flash away from his Q out of stealth, you'll still take some damage, but you'll avoid enough that you should be able to survive.

Fizz dodge that shark at all costs. He's not to be underestimated when it's down, as a lich bane Q can still burst you pretty hard, but getting hit by a Shark is just a death sentence.

Khazix His basic ability rotation is fast, but he usually won't be able to kill you from full without attacking you first (passive and duskblade), and his attack animation is slow enough that you can flash away. He can R to pursue, but you'll have bought enough time for your team to focus him down.

Rengar deal with him before he's fed. Flashing out of his jump might save you, but that's not guaranteed.

Katarina generally not a huge problem anymore. CC her, focus her, avoid daggers, don't stand in death lotus.

Nidalee dodge the spear.

Pyke A weird one. Obviously you need to avoid getting hit by his Q, but the big thing is that you beat Pyke by beating his team. He's great at starting fights and finishing them, but he's kinda ass in the interim. If his team gets yours to half HP, Pyke gets a pentakill. Flip that, and Pyke just kinda awkwardly hangs out hoping one of his allies does some damage.

Leblanc fuck you lol

If it’s a fed: Leblanc Evelynn Rengar (Or champs in the same style) There is nothing much that you can do but pray. These champs have ridiculously fast point and click burst especially from the fog of war.

If it’s a fed: Ekko Katarina Zed (Or champs in the same style) There is a very VERY small window where you can pop zhonyas and pray. You can also flash diagonally but this won’t work against Zed or Ekko. During zhonyas you just have to rely on your team and hope that they kill the assassin or force them to retreat.

you sit down and pray

Pyke join them and be blown away by how easy mode assassins actually are.

on a more serious note, it´s quite sad how most people overlook how the injection of easier and easier target accessibility and added survivability for mobile champs into the game has impacted supports. Since you are behind by default you will always be a prime target and because everyone expects you to bail other players out no one will even consider peeling for you in the 0.5 seconds it takes to kill you.

Other roles have it easier to handle riot´s obsession with more and better mobility especially in regards to target accessibility because they at least have the option to "just be more ahead" and render themselves unapproachable.

And because squishy supports can´t participate in the statchecking game their only option has always been to avoid fights entirely, which is next to impossible when half of the meta roster can force a fight whenever and wherever if they so choose.

Tldr: barely anything, there is just too much dmg and mobility and supports have not been adjusted for this nonsense.
