I've lost far more matches % this season than any other by a huge amount; Dynamic queue

I am currently plat, I have been diamond multiple times and plat once (Because I dropped from diamond on the last day before borders were given, waaah) , in this season, I have lost a massive amount of matches despite my performance being superior to the previous seasons.

I blame dynamic queue because I am seeing that my enemies are stronger than before and my allies weaker, especially when queue times are long.... this indicates to me that I am being queued against organized teams and given randoms as teammates. This is why it is significantly harder for me to solo up to Diamond.

Basically, dynamic queue is exactly what I thought it would be, a punishment for solo queuers.... when will solo queue be added? fuck this system , it is broken for soloers. Riot, if this does not change, if you do not add a true solo queue, I am going to leave this game. I know companies only care about money so let me express; I have bought a ton of RP and would continue to do so if you did not completely betray players like me.

True solo queue or bust. Fuck this dynamic queue nonsense. I DON'T WANT TO PLAY AGAINST ORGANIZED TEAMS. I DON'T WANT TO PLAY AS THE SOLO WITH A 4 MAN PREMADE. DON'T YOU GET THIS? gg

At your level, you do have a point. High Elo is where the Positive Effects of Dynamic Queue (for those grouping) can really shine, because they have the Skills to most effectively enhance their play through Communication and Strategy, and are the most likely to be 'dedicated teams'.

However, this is 'as intended'. They are Winning because they are demonstrating that improved Communication, improved Team Work and Improved Strategy... and Riot is push for more Team Oriented Play moving forward.

They are doing this in large part to attract a greater player base than ever before, and find it easier to retain new players if getting into Ranked is easier (not climbing in Ranked, but getting into it... getting started with it).

Groups allow Lower Elo to not face Toxics and Trolls, to Play Ranked with others who will guide and mentor, and thus make the Transition easier. Instead of getting paired with some Random Tyler1 who flames, causes New Players to say "Umm... I'm not subjecting myself to this crap" and leaving.

They like the idea, that over games, people playing together will develop Strategies, play to Strengths, cover Weaknesses. Which is all good, it really is (Not to say ALL Dynamic Queue is good, there ARE Flaw, but THESE things are all good that I have so far described).

At Lower Elo these things are more easily countered, because it is the rare Low Elo that is actually good enough to capitalize on these things (without the Mechanical Ability to enhance them). At your Level, especially against Dedicated Groups, it becomes more like playing a fully organized team. Which, since they are Mechanically Equal to you... becomes a great hurdle for you.

So unlike the numerous Low Elo that complain about this, your pain I do feel even if I don't experience it directly. But this is WHY Riot made the change, to actually Promote greater Team Work... not just with those Grouping but also Solos, as Greater Team Work will be there only chance to keep up. That just becomes more and more difficult the higher you climb, without resorting to grouping with others yourself to counter.

new players do not play ranked. They play normals which are more toxic than EVER with "plat smurfs" who were silver always until this season where they magically go up to plat, get rekt when soloing, then smurf in norms of their appropriate level (low silver) while talking about how they are "plat smurfs".

I've had to put a few "plats" in their place as a real plat and show them the difference between s6 "plat" and a solo queue'ed plat.

You could just side step the entire point that teaching and immersing new players into Rank is easier in Groups.

Oh wait... you did.

But I do agree with Normal being a highly toxic area, as is Low Elo Ranked. Because some one on an equal skill level with me, who some how thinks he's Faker despite his ranking, will Rage because he's stomping some one who shouldn't be in Ranked yet while Bot is being destroyed by some one who will be Plat in 2 Months from now (a superior player just starting and improving).

It's idiotic. If he's so bloody brilliant, he should have climbed already and not be in Bronze... yet there he goes, flaming all those 'Bronze idiots'. They must not know what Irony is.

Then you catch them on the opposite team 3 games later, and curb stomp them the entire game (because they really aren't good, as evidenced by their Rank). Of course, then they blame their team for their failure... jungle didn't gank, this that and another.

Well, Dynamic Queue is partly set up for us to deal with this. Surround ourselves with Players we get along with, that don't Troll and Flame, and our games won't be ruined by those experiences. The ability to eliminate Trolls and Toxics alone is a huge motivating factor for Dynamic Queue.

I'm sure that's the case, but some people, like me climb when they find their role and champ that fits their playstyle and gain understanding of the game. For example, my friend Shafe was silver bad until he found Zac top lane, he has >70% wr with him and is plat promos. Sometimes it just takes finding your niche.

When I play on my silver acct I almost never play adc or supp, my two main roles, and I almost always struggle in lane. I usually end up winning just bc bronze/silver often don't understand how to close out games.

as far as dynamic goes, I rarely play more than duo bc I find it MUCH harder when i play with 4 or 5 ppl.

While there are cases like that, it's far more likely that they were being boosted, especially if in 15/20 past games they were playing with other people.

I think personal stats are a BIG indicator of that. If their KDA is < 2 (arguably 3) and DO very little in game, they are probably boosted.

BluePolarizer1 votes

even challengers on their mains do not consistently get KDA > 3. #1 challenger NA on his main only gets a KDA of 2.8 I believe.

There's an easy standard though, since everyone has bad games: is this guy actually playing like a plat/diamond? Even when I'm playing a bad game I still can contribute to the team with effective tanking and gold efficient building. A boosted silver will almost certainly NEVER be able to contribute effectively, and won't even be able to tank correctly.

Yeah, that's why I said "arguably" 3. If you're climbing from bronze to plat it should be >3. When you're at your proper division it probably balanced back down. Yes, what you're saying is part of what I meant by "personal stats"

Their plan seems to be counter productive.

Not really. They aren't hurting on the New Player Front.

It's the Vets in High Elo leaving. But High Elo is only like 9% of the Player Base... as a 'Business' you cater to the 91% over the 9% pretty much every single time.

The Low Elo people complaining about it do so either because (1) the massive amount of High Elo Smurf coming down to have fun Noob Stomping en masse or to carry friends and or/get paid to Elo Boost (yes, an abuse of the System, I admit) OR (2) because they do what they always do and blame anything but themselves for not climbing.

You know, the "I just played 100 straight games, and every single one we faced Immortals scrimming, and I had a 4 Man of brain dead monkeys on my side! WAAAH!" They don't even attempt to make it realistic.

While the first is legit... on it's own it isn't enough to reverse the decision made, since this isn't a "Feral Flare Broken" Balance Issue, it's a fundamental change of Philosophy in a Company. That's HUGE. The ol' Paradigm Shift, if you will. One does not simply revert such a shift without major cause to do so.

There is no mass exodus of Player Base... if there was they would be forced, as a business, to revisit the idea of Dynamic Queue and reverting it to Solo/Duo, or even Pure Solo. The numbers are strong, or at least not declined enough to impact their Fundamental Change of Philosophy.

So to them, it's not broken, and a small loss of some of the 9% for the greater good of the 91% is more than acceptable.

I'm not sure if that's correct but I am perilously close to leaving... I wouldn't call myself "high elo" but above average sure.

There is no mass exodus of Player Base

It never happens in one fell swoop... well, yes it does, but sometimes rarely.

League has reached Rome status; It cannot be toppled head on, it can only fall to internal failure/corruption, this is one such event. There is no reason for Solo Queue to have been removed, effectively punishing all soloers.

I am not saying Forced Team Queue should be removed, let it stay... but add Solo Queue as they promised.
