I feel like the main power of Renekton's ultimate is the Fury Generation and, late game, the bigger health gain

Its pretty small actually. Why do you think Renny doesn't get played like at all anymore.

The nerfs they did to him after Season 4 Wolds did him in, put him 6 feet under. Alons with Kalista season 5

I don't know how much this'll be a 'massive power' as of right now Nasus can get upwards of 300 bonus AD depending on how much damage his ultimate is doing... While he's already building full tank so bonus MR and Armor seems like it's just going to be subject to diminishing returns. I doubt it'll compensate enough so that Nasus can build damage instead of full tank.

he doesn't give a shit about AD, and he doesn't use it a lot since he gets kited at the moment it also depends on dealing damage with his ulti and not getting kit

new patch will makes his ulti naturally gives 3 armor/mr per sec.

renekton's ulti meanwhile is just used to get more hp, and more fury, you never realise the damage of his R. Riot needs to change his ulti to makes him less based on fury, and give him something else.

I would also say that he won't really care about an extra 35-105 extra armor and mr (at full duration) since he's kited anyway. Juggernaut (as he is) have trouble getting in close. When they get in close they are supposed to do tons of damage, which is where the extra AD on his ultimate came from to help offset if you were appropriately punished early while trying to get stacks and you hadn't had much chance to stack. With changing it to give tankiness, it feels like a less effective alistar ult. Sure you get extra range on your AAs and more hp but it's not % damage reduction.

For Renekton, I had alrways thought that it was for diving in. Ulting getting all that fury to bump you into the additional damage range and being tankier. The total magic damage that Renekton adds with his ultimate can be considerable (600/1200/1800 if you're silly enough to stand next to him for the full duration). Also the extra fury / second is nice for keeping you in the Reign of Anger zone. Honestly though, I had always found the ultimates of Nasus and Renekton thematic (according to their ascension anyway) but pretty boring.
