WTF Riot has against this champion? Is he not dumpstered deep enough or what?

I think i speak for a large portion of the community when i say, "I don't think we want to see anymore master Yi than we already do." the new skin will likely make more people interested in him, but I remember AP Yi... Yi doesn't need buffs he is fine where he is and is a late game god damage wise.

Not every game ends in 15 minutes... good players end games quickly sure, not every game is full good players though.

That can be said about any champion. To me a good Yi knows when to alpha strike to out play, and when to heal, he knows when they have no CC and needs to tank. Alpha strike has a lot of out play potential vs quite a few champions. Does Yi have counter picks and bad match ups? sure he does but all champions do... when he gets even just a little fed does he become a huge pain absolutely. He is a high risk high reward champion if you give him even an Inch a good player will take it a Mile.

yi the one champ that infuriates me beyond rage. Does nothing at all feeds til 30 min then no one can stop him. PPl dont focus him and when they do he just alpha strikes and kills everyone. Cant count the number of times a 0 and 10 yi has penta killed my team with all of his inhibs down and then runs up mid and wins the game. Yes we bronze but even when u try to focus or get a pick on him late game he deletes you. Ive honestly been banning him for a while cause low elo has no clue how to deal with him. My biggest issue with him is no matter how far down u put him early once he can get 3 item he ends games. A few other champs have same issue u need to stop them from getting fed but when u do it doesnt matter, unlike adc if punished early is useless but not yi or tyrndammere or yasuo.

Yeah Yi, Yasuo, and Trynd are what I describe as Ticking-Time-Bombs. If you don't end the game early things can get very dangerous unless Yi makes a mistake and throws his life away.

Nooooo way. the rune changes are enough. he doesnt need it. nooooooooooooo way. thats just my opinion and all but i just very strongly feel that nooooooooooo way yi don't need targeted buffs the rune changes did it. we good. if anything yi's gonna need a couple slaps on the wrist after this

i played the star guardian game mode a lot and havent played much since then. yi is one of my most played champions. i've got project yi and everything. whenever i'm not bottom laning with friends i tend to play yi

i shouldn't really have to make this argument because looking at people's match history for the sake of making a point is kinda unethical. just because someone hasn't one-tricked a champion for a while doesn't discredit their experience with the champ

in any case, yi's been getting more buffs than nerfs as of late, and they aren't trivial. he's not going to be in a bad spot if you ask me, and yi is one of those champs where you really don't want him to get too powerful, but i don't think riot would leave him in the dumpster if by chance he actually somehow ended up there.
