I foresee Camille being the same problem as tankko and tank Yasuo and tank Fiora... Rito why?
After reviewing some footage of the upcoming champ Camille, I will say she looks really fun.
The problem is were getting the inbreed baby of
. She will be a highly mobile champ that can build tanky except for 2 offense items, which will be easily blurred because one of those will probably be
or
both hybrid offense/defense items and probably
as a core offense item, all while having high base damage + true damage so they can kill enemies still. All with a strong AoE slow.
So were getting another tank assassin designed from the ground up with shields on auto attacks based on maximum HP, begging to be built tanky, that you cant get away from due to their mobility, that still has strong bases and true damage with built in sustain/life steal. Just, I mean she does everything. She even has a crippling slow thrown in.
"But Weasel, she hasnt even come out yet."
Yes, shes not released yet, but here is whats going to happen. Shes going to come out like rework Fiora, be stupid, get her overloaded kit dumpstered to just below viability because like release Ekko, a kit this overloaded cant be balanced and will see constant beat around the bush nerfs because they refuse to address the fact that the kits just plain got too much in it. Eventually we will see some kind of shadow of the released champ. More than likely she will need a few minor reworks on abilities to put her in line.
Rito even admitted that tank Yasuo and Tank Ekko were contrary to the champ design and that they covered too many weaknesses while allowing them to still kill opponents. So was Camille DESIGNED to be what they were built as, but not supposed to be? A mobile tanky assassin, with sustain, and execution tools?
I want someone to tell me that this champ isnt a slap in the face.
Mobility creep? Check. Damage creep? Check. Overloaded? Check. Limmited weaknesses? Check.
Maybe Im underestimating Riot... I dont think so. This just smacks of the typical shoehorning in too much power, and mobility into a champ. In past champ balance patch notes/discussions Iv seen the term "Power budget" used to describe how much power a champ should have at their disposal. That they have to lose something if they gain something else so they arnt too strong. How was this calculated for Camille?
