I hope new Enchanter isn't another shield/heal bot
We are long overdue on traditional supports being revisited and modernized. Please don't Camille it and release a champion that makes other enchanters obsolete
I have high expectations for this.

I have no problem with healers or shielders, and in fact, I want more. I just hope they are unique in how they do it, and have strengths and weaknesses that are different from other healers or shielders.
EDIT: The reason I want to see more healers specifically is so bot lane is less snowbally and you have a chance to catch up and sustain and farm. So your late game picks might actually scale, and Brand and Vel'Koz do not solo carry your lane.
i imagine it will be on par with Pyke and yes make all other enchanters/supports obsolete. Besides Pyke.
No im not saying Pyke is an enchanter.
It will probably have shielding or pseudo-shielding. Remember, expect some new mechanics to get attached to.
I bet its something like "Increases maximum health and maximum mana on target by X amount for X seconds" Essentially just adding like 200hp and 100 mana to a teammate.
So Lulu 2.0?
So Lulu 2.0?
yeh a shitty lulu ult without the slow aura.
Theres a lot of stupid routes they could go. You could give a teammate a temporary "phasing" buff. Where you phase in and out of being targetable for a couple seconds.
Moody P idk why you got downvoted for this. This is a completely reasonable post by you. I agree I don't want another Lulu, Janna, or Soraka. and I also hope it doesn't so much out class them that they become useless except Janna because she is cancer.
name recognition gets me up/down voted automatically
Just depends who is on when I post
Like we disagree on most things, but when you have an imo logical post I totally will upvote it. Content is way more important than the creator.
It will be a support that becomes intangible and attaches itself to a champion. When it attaches itself to an ally, the ally gains a shield, health regen, a dash, and increased damage. When it attaches to an enemy they lose continuous health, are slowed, a % of all damage taken is converted to True Damage, and if they die while you are attached the cooldown is refunded on the ability.
And this is just the passive. Wait till you see what the actives are.
But seriously... I hope it is a really fun champion and a completely different type of champion than we have received for the last... year or so?
We have two healers that are dedicated to healing in a roster of 140+ champions.. I hope healing is one of its main aspects.
Dedicated healers are caustic to the game, this isn't an MMO
who else besides soraka is dedicated to it?

Nami burst heals, Soraka sustain heals, and if you want to count sona you can but they destroyed her.
The only thing "caustic" to the game right now is the mortality rate of any squishy that ISN'T an assassin. The damage right now is disgusting, y'all can bitch about another healer all you want. It's deserving.
I usually consider Nami to be an all rounder support than I would a dedicated healer. She has a heal but it's not nearly as defining as say her bubble or her ult.
Dedicated healing is really dumb and it becomes the same problem that shit like Mundo creates when viable, except applied to someone else. Old Soraka was a much healthier champion, for more reasons than just her heal.
Whether they give them a shield, a heal, both or neither, I just hope they do it in an interesting way. I think the enchanter role has a lot of unexplored potential that is often wasted on a too tight image of what an enchanter is.
If this new champion's teamfight gameplay is more than just "Point-click your buffs on the carry, throw your CC on the first target in range and stay far away from everything", I'm sold.
