Can Riot please ban people for having more then one account?

I think its safe to say that smurfing is a massive problem in this game, it creates an unfair and toxic experience for everyone. So why can't Riot ban people for having multiple accounts? I do not see a problem with that, these "smurfs" are selfish and horrible people that only care about themselves and not the game itself, where they are creating a toxic environment for others by purposefully trying to manipulate the matchmaking system. I think that they should be punished for this since they are not willingly going to abandon their freelo smurf accounts.

I'm sorry but something really should be done about smurfing because it is ruining the game.

Do even know why they create new accounts? people in Diamond and higher please correct me if I am wrong in the following : The queue time increases as your tier increases I used to play with challengers that claimed the queue is 10-20+ minutes back in older seasons so they create lower accounts to play with the rest and not wait that much for a game. So Blame Riot or blame players for not getting high in ranks XD

How is that a problem? They should stop ruining other people's games and being so selfish. It saps all the fun out of League completely, especially with how snowbally the game is today, it just makes it worse.

Well, if you want smurfs to be non existant, then you better ask on a general game community fourm. Because every single competitive multiplayer game has smurfs and always will have smurfs. They can't be taken out and people dont want them taken out lol.

Holy crap dude, that's like saying we should solve world hunger by lining people up and shooting them.

You'll likely never get an idea considered if it's unpopular. If a lot of people would be negatively affected by it then it's going to be unpopular.

You've got to find a more reasonable way to solve the problem. For example offer people rewards for opting in to link their accounts. Then when the accounts are linked you can give them similar MMR.

Or simply putting a client ID number into the code somewhere so every game client is unique, and have it keep track of all the accounts that are used through that client or from that computer.

Straight up banning everyone who has alternate accounts is not feasible or fair to people though. There are a multitude of reasons someone might have alternate accounts that you're not considering.
