Pretty much no one on these boards pretends like that.

If anything a lot of people on the boards hate assassins.

I've made legitimate arguments for assassins too and it didn't get a single reply - my issue isn't with assassins in teamfighting, which I have no issue with, it's laning against assassins.

The base damage on assassins needs to be lowered and their ratios need to be increased. An assassin should not acquire the ability to 100-0 someone the second they hit 6. They get to literally bypass lane phase, they could start boots, get 0 cs, and once they hit 6, they've suddenly got all the lane pressure. Their power spike comes WAY TOO EARLY and is completely irrelevant of items or lane mechanics. They can totally suck in lane, they will not be punished for it long term in anyway. Who hasn't been blown up by the Fizz who has 30 cs at 20 minutes?

They aren't unfun to play against, it's just that you can't rely on your team is why you think they are.
