Assassin form doesn't even kill people, Darkin form is awful and clunky as shit while doing no damage at all for it. Your ult tickles people and you might as well only be good for your CC.

Apocalypsic2 votesAfter multiple games on him I genuinely believe this champion is trash. I've played more than enough Rhaast games to see that he doesn't do shit for damage and myself and friends have also found that Assassin form is a terrible assassin.
He's supposed to be good for what you pick but Rhaast is an awful bruiser, none of his OH WOWSERS %MAX HP DAMAGE things do shit because its all mitigated by armor and he has no method other than items to shred armor on top of mediocre damages all around.
Assassin Kayn is just straight up outclassed by other assassins.
I don't want a champ that can be two things depending on what you want BUT be awful at what you choose. I want a champ that works and I wouldn't care if it's shoehorned into one role from the get go.

lets not forget what happened with jinx and EPSEICALLY lucian. 95% of the community was convinced lucian was trash upon release, and then all of a sudden he exploded in popularity without getting any buffs assided from QoL changes. this was back when lucian could purge slows with his E btw...

Jinx was incredibly strong on release, and Lucian WAS trash on release and had to receive heavy buffs in the form of quality of life changes to become relevant. His kit was inherently broken on release and did not work. Your opponent had to be braindead to be hit with his Q.

His ult deals nothing; his E's heal barely scales with level, his Q and W do not have nearly enough damage to compensate for his damageless kit; his assassin passive sucks since it's post mitigation, meaning to goes through armor and then their magic resistance; his darkin passive just isn't good enough because he deals no damage, and his base HP is pretty bad (Mundo level).

Fuh Queue2 votesI don't think Kayn has had his chance to shine yet. I've had terrible Kayn players in every game he's been played (all of them). I see his potential and how to properly build him, but he's the type of champion that requires a team to back him up. The Rhaast form is meant to build 2 damage items and tank, and assassin should do 3 damage, 3 tank. Kayn will balance out, give it time.

WenSon2 votesi also think he is not as smooth as he was intended to be. as mentioned, his assasin form still gets outclassed by champs like talon or zed. and his bruiser form is also not really a bruiser if u ask me. most stack the same items on the demon as they do on the assasin (duskblade,yomus), since more damage means more heal which is HP, so why should they buy HP items ? so you end up in both ways with just a damage dealer. what anoys me the most in his bruiser form is the delay on the knock up. other champs easy do a 2 spell combo while u are rooted and wait for the knock up. the walking threw the wall is really nice and fun, but thats it to it. overall i think he needs some minor changes
DoktorKaiser1 votesAhahahhaha no, Rhaast form is pretty broken with tendency to become gamebreaking if more damage is added. Ffs he can heal for 3000 hp while being untargetable at the same time. Blue form is trash, I agree, the only time I saw it really doing something is when the guy had 15 kills early game and he literally murdered everyone with 1 Q which is bullshit, but he wont get that fed usually.

midnight oil241 votesI mean, I like playing him. Right now he's tying with WW and Jinx for my favorite champion. I find Rhaast incredibly fun to play, and running through walls to hunt down a fleeing enemy is a lot of fun. He deals respectable damage.

Doñ1 votesI personally love kayn , been one tricking him since release his teamfight is pretty good alonh with the e escape or just heal in the middle of a skirmish chase is good Personally just think he takes practice like when to ult so that they use their movement abilitys he can do alot of dmg if you get the constant q dmg+ catchup an w over and over he can just get a small boost to speed too from his e which iften is enough to catch up to low people

Wish they could even him out a little bit and make him better in the early game and take a bit away from his lategame because I feel that he's outjungled so easily by the current meta and if he was just a bit stronger early he'd be a way more viable pick.

PhearBunny1 votesIts a fair assessment. Rhaast and Shadow Assassin are both mediocre at best, and not worth the long grind of being the weakest champ in the game(base form Kayn). However, he is fun to play, and he is kind of a flexible first pick if your jg happens to get first pick.
He's bad but I still have fun playin him. I feel like they should make some changes to how he transforms tho.
