"the role" is based on an inaccurate assumption that is commonly referred to as the meta.

You don't ever hear of any other position referred to by their damage.

You could probably call mid an APC, but what happens when an AD assassin is played there?

The problem is, AP champions don't often get enough opportunity to be played in the bottom lane, because the meta says that it is bad.

This is exactly WHY the community is losing their shit over this.

If instead the community would adopt some other term, it could simply be "Carry", then something like this wouldn't be as confusing.

I absolutely understand that this is just what the community calls the role, but I wish the community would be more willing to loosen up on 'the meta'
