Xin Zhao and Twitch are getting unreasonable nerfs "because PtA is being buffed"

First off, Twitch doesn't even use Press the Attack and he probably won't start to either given the nerf greatly reduces his ability to lane. Losing 40 damage off his initial E damage is going to be a fairly large nerf to his waveclear (using W and E) and his trading ability with his E.

However, the Xin Zhao nerf makes absolutely no sense. Xin Zhao isn't good right, yet he's losing almost HALF his bonus damage on his passive. I actually can't understand the need for this nerf. The change to PtA buffs laning phase and is actually a nerf for people using it in the jungle. Losing almost half his bonus damage every third hit on his higher rank passive damage (80% to 45% at level 16) is insanity.

Even if Twitch needs to be nerfed, this is not the way to go about it. Xin Zhao shouldn't be touched at all.

Twitch takes PTA in the jungle and his jungling is oppressive right now, im sure that is the reason

he's going to get PTA once it gets buffed, jungle or bot lane

at least he was going to, now his E got nerfed i think he would better stick to fleet footwork

Xin Zhao is an interesting case in that by any objective metric he is doing very well in plat+.

So is he overpowered? In plat+ a bit sure, in diamond+ maybe a little, but in actual high elo? No, with 100 games played in challenger in the last month with a 55% win rate, he's doing decently, but not overperforming at all. Might even be a little below average. Personally I always favor buffing for actual high elo, and the nerfs to his passive damage are incredibly heavy. He's going to feel like shit after this patch.

The pick rate matters more than win rate in challenger, since the sample sizes are so small.

I mean, I know master yi is higher elo was garbage, but now I might actually be afraid of how this net buff will affect him. or maybe even shyvana, considering a q-AA is an instant proc of it.

You are complaining about half of his dmg being taken away when Shen got 66% off his Q at level 1. You are a brain dead right clicking sand paper rank player who needs to stfu and let Riot do what they want because Riot only cares about money making champions. That is right Riot does not care about champions who do not make money for them. So your complaint is most likely thrown out the window right when you decided to talk about XinZhao who has not had a skin just like Shen who are both fighters/ tanks.
