lulz, because doing 600 dmg to darius and 200 to MF makes you "Target agnostic."

the massive injection of %hp damage into tank kits has made them near impossible to balance. If they do their job as tanks and take 5 years to die while having heavy CC, then they become disgustingly oppressive because bruisers can't properly 1v1 them into the dirt like they're supposed to. Of course, instead of fixing the core issue, riot has taken the stance of just massively buffing the shit out of bruisers overall the past couple years (just look at darius's 5.16 release numbers vs now LOL).

It's time to admit that all this %hp damage is a MISTAKE. Tanks need more flat damage, less %max hp, otherwise they just become better bruisers unless we keep bruisers in a hyper-buffed state.

The ornn changes on PBE that were removed (thank god) were basically going to turn him into the best tank in the game because he'd be able to reliably murder or otherwise shove out almost the entirety of the bruiser roster with barely a few combos.

Chogath's kit is also hilariously toxic, and even worse, because chogath has access to % max hp damage to shit on bruisers AND a massive true damage flat nuke to shit on any target really. Chogath's rework is by far the greatest failure in any tank rework big or small. His raw numbers were made shit so that he isn't a supremely glaring issue in regular play.
