Another one of the thousands of posts discussing the mage item changes.
I've read through the posts on the front page, arguing for both sides (though MANY MANY more against than for) and I've read the current changes on the PBE that are being tested. But all those numbers and things makes it seem like things may be going one way or the other. Maybe I'm not smart enough to see the future on these changes, but I don't really know how things can go one way or the other. But I do see that these mana changes will harm the ability to poke earlier on for mostly those who go to the mid lane. As I said, I'm not completely certain where these changes will bring things in the long run. However I do want to pose this question to any Rioter who will respond: If the AP mages are getting their mana pools changed, which will impact how frequently they can use their spells for things like farming minions or poking the enemy, what exactly will happen to energy users like Zed or non-mana users like Yasuo? Because as it stands, it seems that now these champions who are not gated by the same problems as the rest of the mages will get even more of an advantage, as they will be able to poke just as much as before but mages won't be able to poke as much back. I would appreciate a response to see how exactly Riot has decided to tackle this issue.
And please, for the love of God people, don't just downvote me into oblivion. I really want a Rioter's response to this, and would appreciate if you could upvote this so one of them has a better chance of seeing it. Thank you.
