CC lockdown meta

Yet Leona is not doing very well. She is similar to draven, who isnt doing that well in the snowball meta.

Basically, she needs love, more dmg, a less counter-able laning phase, and slighly weaker cc. Riot. Please look.

Leona in my opinion is fine. She isn't played a lot for some reason, but she is more then effective.

She always has been good enough that even without damage on any of her abilities she could still so her job.

Leona's damage output is already amongst the highest of the entire support class. It's just deceptive though as most is applied through her passive which can only be procced by allies and misleading counts towards their damage contribution on the charts, instead of hers. Leona's real damage output is probably about double what 3rd-party sites claim it to be, just one of countless reasons why I don't trust them.

Her problem is that she's an engage-only champ. She can only move forward and when she falls behind, she doesn't have any real tools to catch up. In this way, she's outclassed by other tank supports(Ali, Thresh, Braum) who are all far better at disengaging, even if their engage is only slightly less as strong. They can all play better when behind and are punished less for misplays.
