Can we give real nerfs to ezreal for once?
Tired of this guy being top and now S tier for the whole fking season.
37% pick rate, 20% ban rate, 51% win rate, absolutely ridiculous (his current stats, after the hotfix nerf that did absolutely nothing)

I feel like he does too much dmg when he has flash as a basic ability
Ezreal hasn't been S tier the whole season though? Early season Crit hypercarries were mostly the meta, and Ez was in A or B tier.
Or most of last season Ezreal was in F- tier, until he became a jungler on worlds patch, but people realized he was a shit jungler never to be picked again in week 2 besides by TSM to lose groups.
It's funny how 1 year ago, I was on these boards reading posts about how bad he was and needed buffs desperately. Then new runes break him, he gets nerfed, the runes get nerfed, and at 51% he's still 'winning every game'. 51% is good, but it's the same win %(or below) as adc Quinn, adc Morde, adc Corki, and Sivir, and it's 2-3% below MF and Kai. I feel like Ez won't be left alone until he returns to the bottom 3 adcs in the game, where he spent most of last season.
Ezreal is a champ that becomes amazing, or terrible, depending on the meta botlane.
And personally, I don't think he himself needs nerfs, as his damage is dependent on hitting skillshots, albeit fast one, but still skill shots none the less, which is a lot than can be said about most other adcs
Make
unique.
can't buy them together.
0.6 ad per level is a big nerf to ezreal that lowers his auto damage and his sheen damage (20 sheen damage at level 18)
wow 20 whole damage, so instead of a Q doing 580 damage it does 560.
51%
#"HE'S AN S TIER CHAMPION REEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
Playrate matters too.
With almost 40% pickrate. Which means that you can absolutely suck balls at him and still win due to how busted he is.

no lol. you cant suck at him an win, you can just play safe an prevent the enemy team from snowballing off you.
Ezreal is fine kaisa is not
They just put in a hot fix that decreased his AD per lvl by 1 and removed the scalling on his passive so it stays at 10% instead of 10%/11%/12%/13%/14%. this might work but his main problem tends to stem from having a huge item pool and the inability to nerf interactions he has with them without nerfing other champions.
is know to abuse every item available at some point.
Since when is 51% winrate considered op?
When a champion's pick rate is over 35%+ and Ezreal is 40%+
Since when is 51% winrate considered op?
With a pick rate as high as his, It's overpowered.
He's easily one of the champs that can either be really good after buffing or dead after nerf.
He will somehow resurrect at a jungler xd
Oh my Aurelion Sol... may that once again be forbidden. It was either you had a good ezreal or you had a bad one lol.
** resurrect**
Screams in scuttle crab*
China loves Ezreal
Do the math
"real nerfs" what would you consider "real nerfs"? reducing his base HP to 1 at all lvls?
How about making his Q not apply on-hits? Fixes his synergy with Klepto.
Or if you want to keep that reduce the damage and increase the cooldown on his E.
Or if you want to keep that reduce the amount Q's reduce your cooldowns by.
Suggesting that his Q not apply on hits is basically asking them to make him an entirely different character. Everything he builds is centered around his Q applying on-hits.
I suggested 3 different options. Why all the downvotes?

and by how much you want them to reduce the damage? or reduce the amount that Q reduces CDs? or by how much you want his E to increase in CD? let me guess... to the point where the ability feels completely terrible to user in every single case
[zombie-brand-facepalm] That's a joke keystone FTR. It's not a terrible rune, but it can't compete with keystones that provide raw power. It was good before the rune rework when it was competing with smaller options like the Manaflow Band instead of things like Lethal Tempo, Press the Attack, and Electrocute.
You don't remove entire mechanics from champions because you are annoyed with bad players that use bad builds.
Am I the only person who has almost NEVER seen an Ezreal carry a game, unlike crit ADCs and especially Kai'Sa, he just pokes but he hardly scales, doesn't burst tanks and doesn't profit from enchanter supports like everyone else does ??

cause he cant, ive never once hard carried a game as an ezreal main, unless i had full build at 20 mins due to snowballing like crazy off bad players. but there has been many games ive lost where i am the only fed one, you cant stop a nexus push with baron minions, you cant do much vs a team full of mobile assassins if your team dont help you, if the enemy doesnt fall for the oh chase ezreal an focus killing off his team first then most team fights will be won by the enemy adc even if behind ezreal, he just isnt a hyper carry champ, i only main him to try to stomp early game/mid game an snowball that lead by getting picks on squishies so my team will have an advantage an hopefully they will do something.
Tbh I would personally change his passive and make him AA betweem spells(not like
though), to make him a better shen abuser. :^) It's not like he builds attack speed amyways besides
that get's walked all over by
. And if that were the case he'd still build
as the only attack speed item.
AD/lvl nerfs were huge because it hurts his sheen damage
attack speed DOES NOT FUCKING MATTER on a champion that only use Q to poke
maybe they should do to his q what they did (but partially reverted) to jinx's q and have a lot of its power (whether through damage or cooldown or both) locked into champ level.
maybe they should do to his q what they did (but partially reverted) to jinx's q and have a lot of its power (whether through damage or cooldown or both) locked into champ level.
and then you have a useless champion since you literally gimped him from doing anything useful since Q is his main skill where he literally his main skill. There is a reason why Jinx's Q was reverted to what it was
I presume AD is stronger than AP Ez? So maybe his ult could be nerfed if he goes AD and act more like jinx's if he goes AD route (so scale based on missing hp), and behave the same as current if
goes AP.
So his ult would only do as much dmg as currently while going AD if the enemy is below 40% hp...
Ez is almost never OP, and hasnt been this patch. Hes a consistent pick because he has multiple options and build paths and has no matchups where he is strictly countered. Hes a jack of all trades master of none pick.

for real, hes not op, just popular adc win rates are different than most other roles, they play a small factor in how the game goes, he helps his team win by being anti-snowball an very hard to kill and can normally play ver safe, which keeps him from food for the snowbally as fuck cancer like zed/leblanc. most people are assassin mains so thats why they hate ezreal/vayne. they are adcs that are very hard to kill when played decently, unlike a varus or jinx or ashe they are just walking bags of gold to these mongoloid assassins.
He's clearly one of the champs that truly needed a rework.
The boards sure are fun. Adc players stop playing crit adcs cause they absolutely shit. Just for other to complain about adc mains playing other marksmans that don't use crit.
But mah skins. Hes the One of the only 2 male champions riot makes skins for along with yasou.

I feel this a little inflated for an issue, and more just people tired of seeing him.
A safe champion is doing very well after a slew of changes to the role, that should be fine and absolutely expected this patch. He isn't an actual carry in comparison, which of course doesn't mean he can't but just that it is less impactful -- and due to that safety, doesn't need to be doing a lot of the experimenting with items and spikes and getting used to the new operation isn't as consequential. Other ADC's spikes were nerfed timewise and Ezreals remained the same if not slightly buffed. So of course he's doing better, critical strike isn't weighing down on him.
That doesn't particularly make him broken as much as it does give him a window of opportunity to take advantage of other ADC's. Just last patch he was actually relatively bad -- nerfing him further because of the shifts to crit adc's that have larger impact on the game means his mid game is lowered to around the point of what crit adc's almost are, which were nerfed due to them spiking too early anyway for heavy impact. Ezreal late game is decent, but isn't a hard carry like the rest.
The expanded window of power he has is nice, it's more the issue that games end too early on average and if they did go on longer from the actual meta -- you would see Ezreals win rate drop. The champion itself is in a fine spot, and hovering at 50.5% with that high a playrate is healthy for a safe champion regardless. If a safe champion is dropping, there are problems -- the nature of safety is that you shouldn't be giving kills to snowball games and that you can play to end mid game -- something Tristana somehow got away with for awhile being a scaling monstrosity. As to the large window of power in relativity to the time frame of comparison, the AD nerf is as good a nerf as he needs until the adc paradigm stabilizes, and the spot he's in because of the changes reflect nothing obscene.
People like to also complain that new people get a good winrate with that pickrate and this justifies that he's too strong, even if he isn't hard carrying. The winrate for new players on Ezreal sits at 47% and goes to 49% after 100 games and then peaks going up. So no, that is certainly not the case, he is always a top 3 played champion because of his playstyle. The champion doesn't particularly require nerfs beyond the hotfix -- let people pick up Lucian again after him being gone so long as his win rate and pick rate are very close to Ezreals now as well as Jhins. There's a lot going on, calling for nerfs to specific champions instead of the balance of the new patch itself is half hearted.
