I've put up with a lot over the course of this game

But for the love of god I am so fucking done with trying to have faith that you have any clue what the flying fuck you are doing with graves?

Honestly, can we get someone, anyone, from Riot to explain the though process behind Graves; why the fuck does he have knockback on jungle monsters, why the fuck does he get free resistances, why the fuck can he kill me ON A WARRIOR ENCHANTMENT WITH 3 AUTOS AND HIS Q?

The worst part is theres fuck all to outplay, his ult range/size is fucking enormous that it completely overcompensates his "short AA range", and theres no way to dodge his Q without a dash that doesn't involve eating a bullshitly over-pumped AA.

And I HONESTLY COULD HANDLE ALL THAT... If he came out of the jungle AT FUCKING 1/2 HP LIKE EVERY OTHER CARRY JUNGLER DOES.

And frankly I'm done with it. Champions that have had hard counters have been nerfed before as "counter-picking is not a viable means of counterplay", so how the hell does making graves STANDARD (FUCKING STANDARD MIND YOU, NOT WEAK) against magic damage appropriate means of counterplay?

The fucker needs some risk involved, and frankly, when I'm breaking my back outplaying a Zed, his Nautilus, his Gragas Support, all while trying to avoid all manner of crossfiring bullshit, only to be "outplayed" by a Graves walking through all of my spells not a care in the fucking world and right clicking me, it honestly makes me want to vomit.

Shit is worse than Lee Sin, which is something I had tried desperately to avoid admitting because i thought I hated that fucker more than anyone.

But no.

Apparently I don't hate Lee Sin enough.

I'm not going to suggest any compensation for him, he doesn't fucking need, or frankly deserve, it. He needs to be dropped by at least 2 pegs, starting by removing his bullshit resistances that should have been changed the moment he went into the jungle, AND his knockback against monsters.

Either that or you completely gimp his AA ratio to make it deal notable damage if he is building only crit items so he actually has to scale like everybody else.

I think the former is more healthy and fairer but I honestly don't give a damn which, but I am sick to death of having an aneurysm every time I have the horrid displeasure of being forced to play against this champion, who spits in the face of every single risk-calculation there is in the game.

hmm, I wonder what you'd think of playing a pure melee champ against a competent Darius in top lane. I think that shit is even more 'spits in the face of risk calculation' than Graves. But I get your point about how awful it can feel to face Graves as a melee champ (he shits on melee pretty hard tbqh).

Honestly, can we get someone, anyone, from Riot to explain the though process behind Graves;

not that I like graves but the answers are there:

  • why the fuck does he have knockback on jungle monsters, probably to make his kiting against monsters and minions better, also because his auto attacks get blocked by minions it would be considered nice if they were pushed away.
  • why the fuck does he get free resistances, He always did, it was to make him an adc that would focus on longer fights.
  • why the fuck can he kill me ON A WARRIOR ENCHANTMENT WITH 3 AUTOS AND HIS Q? because he is an adc with a pretty decent early and mid game.

"ADC with a pretty decent early and mid game" ^given the assumption the late game is strong by virtue of the fact that Graves IS an ADC, what part of this is balanced?

My whole problem is Graves has compensation for standard things everyone else has to deal with. Kiting monsters? Tough shit, you orb walk or eat a billion damage.

Make him an adc that focuses on longer fights? Then why the hell is 1/2 his kit focused around 1 shotting a target?

Motherfucker is completely overcompensated, and I'm done with it by this point

he has a 48 percent winrate and in the link I included you can actually see that his winrate looks like this around 20 minute games the winrate starts dropping heavely and he only get's back to a 50 percent winrate after around 45/50 minutes in the mid late game he statistically drops off. That is not a opinion that is a fact. He has his weak spot and it is in the mid/midlate game weirdly enough.

  1. his passive makes him only stronger in longer fight, he doesn't just get them, those passive stacks are meant to give graves better longer trades, that is just what they were made for, you asked: why does he get stacks? That is why he got them.

I don't fully disagree with you, but you asked why he got each and every update that he got and I answered why I think he got those effects, thats all.
