Why aren't there any AP crit items?

There are plenty champs who could make excellent use of such items because they are attack based champs who have AP abilities.

Now, lets pretend we had an item like the following, (The passive could change, the whole point is the AP crit)

100AP 40% crit passive: Speeds up attack/cast animations ( So there is less interference in casting abilities and attacking).

Every champ above could use something like this while not being broken. This would allow for decent AP hybrid build when combined with . And imaging if could crit. A build like plus the AP crit item would give the above ADCs decent auto attack damage, while powering specifc AP spells in their kit. Spells that have been underutilized from the beginning of lol would get a chance to shine. This would open so many alternative build paths on AD champs who have AP skills.

Why should such an item exist you may ask?

Because exist for AD champs. is actually a broken item that would be completely oppressive on AP champs. But since AD champs don't rely as much on their spells for damage, its turns out to be ok on them.

The same can be said for AP champs. They don't rely on auto attacks as much for damage so 40% crit on one item is not as busted as it would be on an AD champ because they would not access as much raw AD as AD champs would.

In any case, some tweaking is welcome, but I think an AP crit item would be a nice to add to AP itemization in general for the sake of diversity.
