A lot of people seem to be confused as to what is wrong with yasuo
The current issue isn't that midlane yasuo is op, he's always been like this. Really annoying to face as a mage but falls off late game becasue he is a melee ADC.(basically). So, yasuo should be building very glass cannon with a lot of damage with a few tank/bruiser items tacked on. To compensate for this he was given crazy mobility so he can gapclose well and not have to worry about getting kited whilst also having the shield for a passive. W to help against poke mages, and everything else just there to deal damage. This was fine
Fast forward to season 6 where bruiser items are strong or overloaded.
etc. Suddenly this problem occurs.
Now yasuo is building bruiser items so he is now trading some damage, for more health, more resistances, and more time to deal that damage in a fight. Throw in wardlords and now he doesn't even have to build a lifesteal item. At the end of the day a broken mess appears. A bruiser with, a knockup, insane mobility, passive shield, large amounts of armor pen, and a reliable way to block peel from hitting him. That's an issue.
What riot needs to do is make the tankier bruiser items and builds less effective on him, if that's a nerf to the item or a nerf to his interactions with the items we shall let RIOT decide. Gutting his mobility, damage, and shield are not the way to go.
probably shouldn't exist them since sustain can be argued as a defensive power.
