edit: before i get downvoted into oblivion for "enforcing muh meta" please tell me what any of those champions really have to offer at the support position that the actual traditional supports don't do better without robbing your laner of cs and kills

shyv1 votesi've done a lot of support syndra and as long as you're not taking cs from the adc (no good support does this regardless of the champ they're playing) it's actually pretty good. she has a stun, slow, and some of the best burst in the game, combined with frost queens it's enough to win lane. not great late game but kill lanes are always fun.

GP could maybe have been considered a support before his rework, where he could give an AS buff to team mates, but after the rework, they should've redone his tags

highly possible since Shyv's tips still refer to Phage as a slowing item and Graves's tips still tell you to using Quickdraw to get in range for a good Buckshot.
LawlessMaker1 votesAs a guy who donger supports.. You basically use your turrets to not let them push up to your turret... keeps them in lane plus you got nice poke. You also can roam a bit.. your rockets let you kill secure mid if needed cause of range.

if you're using turrets under your tower you're most likely screwing your adc's farm over
