Just had a game with 3 people who finished with a combined KDA of 2/48

And apparently I'm the troll for being upset at it. Apparently, I'M THE PROBLEM PLAYER for being upset at that.

Did I curse at any of these 3 teammates? No. Did I express my displeasure for them giving up 10 minutes in? Yes. Did I insult them while I expressed how I felt? No. But apparently I'm the one who should get reported for still trying to win after going 4/1 in lane. It's in the chat logs.

The worst part is that none of those 3 were trying. You could just tell they weren't when they walked up to the enemy team 1v5 over and over just to feed until their bounty was 52 gold a piece.

You really have a fun game here Riot, for all it's downsides. But if there's anything that'll make me quit this game, is it's absolutely appalling community who scream "GG FF AT 20" because they died once in lane and then refuse to even walk out of base unless it's to feed and ruin other's game IN A NORMAL GAME.

Had our mid and top blaming our Diana jungle for not ganking enough as they fed and constantly complained about how useless and bad she was. Both of them ended around 1-4, with Diana going 7-2. They were also both in much higher elos than our Diana.

I have no idea, people don't understand her. They'll call her overpowered, but then they won't even attempt to invade or shut her down early game. She's so useless without her ultimate, but once she gets it she hits probably one of the biggest powerspikes in the game.

As a Diana main, I +1. I play Diana everywhere but bot lane and in lane I lose fairly hard against most people. Then I hit 6 and assert my dominance because for some strange reason they don't think I'm going to go in and chunk them out after I hit my Q. Not to mention, their jungler usually never tries to shut me down at my level of play (silver).

I am a jungle main and when I play top Diana, I am like a juicy chicken dinner up there pre 6.

Me and my friend both got played in Silver 5 and are climbing to Gold (so far only lost 2 games and we've both gotten fed every single game pretty much.) and he mains Diana Jungle. (Bet you can't guess what I main.)

So many people say stuff like "WOWWW DIANA SO OP FREELO" in all chat, yet they didn't make a single attempt at all to invade, or even attempt to shut her down at all early game. Even when they play early game dominant champions like Lee Sin, they don't do anything and complain that Diana is 10-0 and one shotting their ADC almost.

I played a game tonight where this Lee sin first blooded me at my red and was trying to invade which put me in a bit of a pickle, but ultimately I got a kill and we all know what happens after that.

We ended up losing because their Nasus got way too big though...that and they had a support fiddles. That was a really good pick on their part (the fiddles I mean). We had a team where everyone relied heavily on abilities and those silences were hurting.

I used to play Akali back in the day too. After they made some changes to her kit she was belly up :(

Akali is extremely dependent on the meta, as well as the lane match-up to do very well. She's no longer like Diana, ala "I lose lane, but then I hit 6 and whoops goes your hp"

How do people not understand that it isn't the jungler's job to save them from their own retardedness?

From my own experience jungling in 1000s of games, the people who demand ganks usually have no idea how to set them up or when the appropriate time to gank is. Furthermore, these people usually continue to lose to their opponent no matter how many times you gank them.

If you did nothing wrong, you won't get punished. At most you'll get a chat ban, which is unlikely unless you went over the board.

Played since Season 2 and I've never been banned or chat restricted even when I spoke out against trolls.

Seeing at the current system is near 100% automated, this isn't true anymore. You can very likely get a legitimate punishment because there is no real person seeing and understanding the context of what they are seeing. You could be annoyed but be constructive in what got you "reported", but say fuck in a completely different context of the report, and the system can easily pick that up and that's that.

It is a flawed system they are still working on, but the fact is, it is very flawed still. I am in the same boat as you as far as never even been chat restricted, and if I have been reported I'm not aware of it, but that was then, and unfortunately Riot has put the power in the hands of the salty kids reporting everyone because they lost, and so on.

It is why I just don't bother talking unless it is directly pertaining to "dragon in 45" or something of that nature.

1.) I fed like 27 deaths in one of my games today which was pathetic, but the problem, Lack of team play in almost every single game I played today except one, bot lane player doesn't talk at all even when communication is asked for, and they just auto lock, no one talks at all at that point I give up, I can do great I have done it before but this ADC player was just too unskilled for me to play my champion with.

^ I don't mind unskilled players or new players what I mind is the fact I talked 4 times in champion select, and got "Zero Commuication" Not even I am new to this game, No anything, that combined with the fact they suck at the game, I didn't abuse in chat, or anything, but there is just no excuse for not talking when someone asks something at the champion select screen.

^ There is also no excuse to why Riot doesn't punish players who don't talk at champion select.

2.) On the other hand I go 1v1 Mid Lane later, I end up getting fed Mid after giving up first blood because of the enemy jungler, I end up getting super fed off 3 of the enemy team but we lose and I still die a lot more because no one on my team counters the enemy or got any type of CC

The current punishment system is automated I have never been "Banned" by the automated system" however only restrictions because of players who just absolutely refuse to do Team Play which is part of the summoners code, and Riot is not enforcing the summoners code at all they are just enforcing communication abuse, and intentionally feeding, that is all, they don't care if players even do team play, or how it effects other players like myself doing very poorly then having to deal with harassment, or report spam in a huge number of games which results in automated restrictions.

Two points you may want to consider. First, some people who don't communicate much/any are chat restricted. The may not speak because they may not want to insult someone and extend their chat restriction, or they may have muted you. If I'm having a bad day I'll mute my whole team so I can't type things to them. My mechanics are terrible, but I coach sports so my strategy and understanding are much better than my ability to play the game (I'm terrible). It becomes a problem because I can generally point out both what I am doing wrong and what my team is doing wrong, while often teammates can only point out what other people are doing wrong, and I would call that stupid imo. Even if your team is doing something to throw the game you probably are too if you're struggling that much, and players who are chat restricted probably would rather not say anything than to have to be nice about their opinion of your criticism.

Second, my general understanding and experience of play is that 9 times out of 10 if I lose a game I get fed in, it's my fault. Low gold is the level I start to struggle. Hell silver 1 and silver 2 I start depending on my team more and losing more games where my team struggles. On the other hand, drop me in bronze and I can win 90% of my games if I play my main mid/top. I have a second account from leveling up with a friend who started league and placed both my accounts in bronze at the start of the season (I was out of practice and bad) and when I jumped on the second account after getting the first into gold, the climb from bronze to silver was sooooo much easier than it was the fist time. I reacted to things faster than people in bronze and out rotated most enemies. My lead became my teams lead and a half dozen games that started with double kill for the enemy bot and then 2 more in short succession ended w/ our bot lanes tied bc ours kept dying and I kept rotating bot and killing the enemies. So while you may not be playing poorly, unless your challenger there is probably something you can improve in, even if it's just learning to adapt to a team that isn't playing optimally.

had a pair in a ranked game earlier where the akali was cursing out the nami for being 4/11. after that the nami just split push bot alone and gave up around 20 kills to the enemy team . without her we were able to destroy the enemy team 4v5 most of the time but we werent able to do anything effective. trying to get objectives like baron or dragon vusually got the entire team killed and it was a complete mess. It really is the community who makes this game noth realy worth playing and if it werent for them just straight up giving up and giving kills its really annoying and reporting wont do anything. Most itll do is ban them from play but they wont care likely theyll make a new account and just screw over other people again and again

You get reminded how nasty people can be, become jaded and just pass time until the enemy wins or your team forfeits. Not saying it's the mature or right thing to do, but Ill do it. I don't intentionally feed, but I certainly stop trying when I encounter people like this

The community makes this game not worth playing. Everything I hate about this game has to do with someone else. I hate learning new characters because if I'm put up against someone who knows the match up better I am going to get cursed out by a teammate or spoken condescendingly to about everything I'm doing wrong. Think I've had 2 teammates that legit tried to help me without trying to sound like know-it-alls or making me feel bad about it in my entire history of playing this game.

I have a level 16 smurf account (TO LEARN NEW CHARACTERS) where I mostly keep quiet in game. And there are so many other bronze/silver smurfs who talk shit to players who are obviously completely new to the game that it makes me sick. My games are full of other smurfs now and I'm paranoid as hell of picking a character I'm unfamiliar with because of the toxicity it might bring out -- totally defeating the point of my smurf account in the first place.

Sure they can, put them in the League equivalent of time out.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If people in this game want to act like bratty children, then treat them like you would a bratty child. You don't reward them, ignore them, and hope they get better.

No you punish them, and teach them how to curb their negative behavior. Riot just can't be arsed so it has gotten worse over time, and completely removing the tribunal for a year with nothing else in place for most of that year only made matters worse.

#1 simply design an addition to the system to reward punish extremes in indidviduals participation in each match. Wow that was hard, and no before you come back with some stupid quip about supports dont get kills it doesnt have to be about kills only supports get assists and carries don't. So just even having a basic KDA and then comparing it to your entire team if you fall xxxx range from your team you get either extra reward or penality. Oh wait some asshat is about to chirp about HERR DERR I AM A TANK I INITIATE AND DIE ALOT.....you sure do but because of that you also should be socring alot of assists unless you are trash and picking bad fights, in which case yes you deserve extra punishment if your team loses.

There are plenty of other valid metrics to use that are not perfect but FAR MORE fair that what we have now.

i have literally had games in which i had little to no assists all game but still managed to bait the enemy team into bad decisions and blew up all my spells on them, i die a lot on those games but my team usually comes and cleans the entire enemy team because they used so many ults and skills on me. Should i be punished because i ended a game something like 0/10/3 in a game whose score was something like 25 - 15 when i actually forced the enemy team into such bad decisions and forced them to use everything on me? even though i was the one with most deaths on my team? this type of system you propose is dumb because it completely ignores scenarios like the one i described (and they are not that rare either) in favor of KDA

Welcome to League of Legends friend.

Where you're not allowed to be upset or defend yourself when someone on your team starts insulting or trolling you.

Where you're not allowed to be upset when you win your lane by a landslide but have a bunch of teammates feeding RELENTLESSLY because they're "just having fun" on a champion they've never played in ranked and don't really care about winning.

Where you're not allowed to leave the game or sit in base when 2 people on your team are AFK and instead have to run your face into the fed enemy team over and over while they style on you.

This is why chat-restrict and ranked restricts based on chat are useless and you need an actual tribunal and moderators in place.

I had a Fiora that kept trying to 1v5 and spammed the surrender despite Mid and botlane being so fed that we had 9 turrets to their 2 and we had 3 drags and a baron all because she wasn't having fun because she lost lane.

Lucky for us pretty much as soon as she went "fine then I'll just AFK" I landed a blitzgrab on their ADC and aced the following teamfight and won.

Like jesus, how immature do you have to be that you try to ruin the game you're obviously winning just because you aren't the best player in that match?

or you can just say nothing if all you can think of saying is negative input. No one says you need to have fun while in a losing game, that doesn't mean you have the right to make a bad situation even worst. If you cannot say anything positive or neutral then don't say anything, and that doesn't mean to never say anything "negative" but there is also a limit on how much you can use those and how much that is, it's different from person to person and should pretty much be avoided and use in EXTREMELY short amounts regardless

Been in more than one ranked game with at least 2 people (a few times three) with scores of no better than 2/18 (and not supports). Of course it's even more fun when those are the people who also refuse to let your team surrender and explain "we can still win this".
