I heard there was some supposed fix this patch that would make creep block less frustrating? The creep block is still beyond disgustingly awful and it's just become a joke to me when I see my champion walk around aimlessly like a headless chicken because a caster minion was in the way.
I feel like the game is punishing me because I had the audacity to play a melee champ.

Don't worry, Riot evened it out by releasing a champ that punishes you for having the audacity to play ranged 
I just think of the minions as wanting to hug me and it gets better.
Yes, the minion blocking is still terrible. I don't understand why Riot has to go and mess-up something like this, the champ/minion collision situation seemed fine 3 years ago, then it gradually gets worse. You used to be able to slip around minions with ease, only once in a while would you experience a pronounced blocking effect when you encountered an unusually dense clump of creeps (which is fair enough).
I'm not sure if it's the actual blocking, like the size of the minions, or that the pathing AI is incredibly retarded. I find my champion taking the dumbest routes to get around minions. It still feels worse than last season though.
Not just melee champs, melee champs w/o dashes like Yasuo.
We should be allowed to let bard make a magical journey on minions... it would help nothing but id love to see a journey that can move with me up lane as i take it over and over again
can confirm if you play any melee champion and you have 3 minions in front of you better do a cycle around them because you aint going anywhere

Creep block is bad now, like really bad. If you ask me its actually worse then before.
Your own minions shouldn't be there to work against you, their very presence n your lane shouldn't make laning more difficult and frustrating.
Creep block in general is just so stupid.
But it's okay guys! Riot has compensated melee farming by removing the passive on Tiamat! Oh wait...
i had a big wave of minions that all started attacking the tower and i could not walk to the tower to auto cause the minions were blocking me. the patch has made creep block worse not better
they should just remove ally minion block
I think they really need to just get rid of friendly minion collision altogether. It's just dumb and makes no sense. Enemy minions should get in your way, yes, because it would keep the challenge of chasing an enemy while also having to worry about running into minions on the way
But it's stupid that your own minions can get you killed. They're there so they can help you, not to shit all over you when you need to escape or get a kill or something. I guess that'd mean they'd have to change Kassadin and Fizz's passives tho, since they'd be pretty much useless if everyone could already move through their minions
They didn't say anything about not activating the new changes within the patch notes in the game. I just came here to comment on how terrible creep blocking is, and what a major disruption it is to the flow of game play. And to think this was perfect a few years ago Riot just has to fuck it up like everything.

Was watching C9 Sneaky's stream and at one point he tried to move behind the golems on the top side of the map to dash over the wall with Lucian. He couldn't get behind the golems because their bodies blocked him. Doesn't seem very intuitive to gameplay. There's been a few instances where the minion block has messed with me, including when trying to last hit a minion and you have to move all the way around your own minion wave just to get in range, and by that point you missed the last hit. Or here's a funny one, I was attacking the enemy nexus when their minions spawned (super minions). I was trying to pull an Xpeke, and these minions all surrounded me so I couldn't move at all or run even if I wanted to. They held me in place until the enemies caught up to me and killed me, whereas otherwise I would have likely been able to destroy the nexus. One more example: I was playing bot lane as adc. We engaged past the enemy minion line for a kill on the enemy bot lane, we got the kill and when I tried to back off their minions formed a wall preventing me from running back. My champion could not decide on a course path so he stood there bugging out while the enemy support killed me. That's enough to make me agree with the title of this thread.

I still don't understand this problem, are the creeps actually singling you guys out and getting in your path. Or is it a wave management problem you yourself are having issues with, I just don't see it in my games.
Maybe it's an upper elo thing, I wouldn't understand.
They didn't turn it on yet. They will notify us when they do. I believe, anyway.
They tried to fix a random problem that occasionally came up by making it a consistent problem ._.
