Stop calling this the 'League of Mobility'
I personally prefer to call It the League of Dash knock up mobility with double passive kit and percentage hp damage with triple aa hit effect
I personally prefer to call It the League of Dash knock up mobility with double passive kit and percentage hp damage with triple aa hit effect
champions in this game have more passives than freeza has forms.
"This isn't even my final passive"
Expecting this... Was not disappointed.
How many does he have? 3 on his passive- dmg, move speed and enemy slow 1 on q- when it hits someone a stack of passive is applied 2 on w- bonus damage(not sure about this), shield/stun/slow/combinations 1 on e - applies a stack of passive 1 on ult- regain health
Did I miss any?
he only has 1 passive for his passive. just because it does multiple things doesn't make it more passives
his q doesn't have a passive, it just gives a stack of it. huge difference
his w only has 1 passive, the rest is the ability itself
e has no passive same as q. if you can say it does then he has infinite because the only reason it does is because it's an aa empowering ability.
how is regaining hp suddenly a passive?
all in all, he actually only has 2 passives, but you listed 8...
If you don't exagerate a little bit, they will buff him xD Kappa
Your title got me there for a second haha
Or, as those in the know like to call it, League of CertainlyT.
"League of Cancer" is synonymous with "League of CertainlyT"
at least zyra is nerfed insanely hard (doesnt stop her from dealing the most damage in your team as an utility building support) and darius is kiteable by always fawoured adc's and cc loaded mages

Lux is the 3rd highest winrate mid: http://champion.gg/champion/Lux
and Vel has a 50%+ win rate in both his roles and being top 10 mid: http://champion.gg/champion/Velkoz
TF: http://champion.gg/champion/TwistedFate
I don't play Vel, but it's impossible to die in lane, to anyone, as Lux while either free farming or slowly poking your opponent out of lane. If properly positioned, it's impossible to kill her unless you have ranged CC, like Sej ult, or flank her by sending multiple people to kill her. Before her buffs Lux already had a 50% win rate and is now at 54%.
Sure, keep pretending she's weak though.
I've only seen 4 Lux's in my last 40 games, and all of them were on the losing side.

Bad Luxs don't change the fact she is better than every other mid.
you don't even need to be a good lux if you at least understand to don't get in the face of the enemies. All Lux' i saw in Ranked yet always got amazing KDAs, even when they're losing hard. Support Lux also helped me much in getting out of Bronze, and i'm a pretty horrible Lux player.

Yeah, then the fact you should NEVER use Q offensively. Every time I see a Lux dying a lot it's because they miss Q offensively then get all-ined or tower dove while it's on CD and wonder why they die a lot, these people also take ignite over heal/barrier when Lux does NOT need ignite. I always save Q for ganks or when they jump onto me or dive me, it's why she averages low deaths because most people know to do that. It's why she's impossible to catch even for mobile champions. I wish people stopped looking at mobility only, there are non-mobile champions that's just as safe, if not, safer than some mobile ones because of CC+Utility and range. Who needs mobility when they can't reach you anyways?
Yes, and your four games seeing Lux lose should absolutely be considered more authoritative a sample than the 28 thousand Lux games recorded by Champion.gg.
I never said it was. I was just pointing out that she is way less popular and why would somebody so "strong" be so much less seen than other champions. Strong isn't about win rates. The fact that a few people know how to play Lux while so many people fail on Leblanc would make it appear Lux is stronger, but if she really is, more people would play her (let alone the fact that the last time she was seen in LCS was 2014)
28 thousand games is "a few"? Their Ahri page has only 40k games. People are calling Leblanc freelo, as a powerful champion who is easy to play... the site has 24k games for her. And the site only records games at the Plat and above level.
Strong very much IS about win rates. What you fail to recognize is that what is strong in organized team play isn't the same as what is strong in solo queue. You've committed two fallacies here so far. You should quit while you are still only this little behind, because you are only going to get more wrong from here on out, if my experience serves as a guide.
Allright I give up. But I still hold my point of view, as if you focus on win rates, Leblanc and Ekko are some of the worst champions, and 90% of the boards will tell you otherwise.
That's because a lot of people don't read patch notes. The nerfs to Leblanc hit her pretty hard; she dropped about 7% win rate since 5.11 hit. The speed nerf on her blink made it easier to disjoint, and the width nerf on chains indirectly reduces her damage, since Leblanc players will miss more often.
Ekko... well, that's just Newitis. He's new, people don't really understand him, so they feel he is overpowered. He was a tiny bit overtuned, particularly in his ult, but his win rates have never been all that strong for solo queue. First of all, people are playing him in the wrong lane. He is overwhelmingly played in mid when his top lane game is so much better, statistically. This is because he thrives in long games as a late game assassin. He wants to farm, isn't that strong early, and gets easily harassed in mid. He could be strong, but really, I'd describe him as well-balanced at this point. He dropped about 5% in win rates after the initial nerfs, and that puts him in a decent spot.
A common problem with both of them is that, like you, you have seen four in forty games. For a lot of people they've seen them once this patch, twice last patch, and once before that. Champion.gg is the better source because it records all the games Plat and above, not just the games of those who came to the forums to whine after they lost to something.
Never listen to the boards to tell you what is good or not.
Uh, I can do the same thing except I can play Miss Fortune and carry all of those games and even have much higher KDA such as 27-3 or something which I've done a lot. But it doesn't mean she's overpowered or underpowered.
I can also go 0-5 with Nidalee 10 games in a row, it's not becaue she's weak but it's because I suck with Nidalee.
Winrates are really poor to go off too, there's so many reasons why they're terrible unless they're Zyra on release with 65% winrate or Syndra with like 28% winrate.
win rates tell us how strong they are in solo q. how high your chance to win a game with or against a champ. win rates don't tell the strength of best case senario. they tell the average strength of a champion in a special elo intervall. why mals have high wirnate of all champs while he is never seen in pro play or high elo

I logged in just to say "Prove it". You won't. Heck, pretty sure you can't.
Holy crap I probably get into 3 - 5 arguments a day about people saying how underpowered Miss Fortune is and how she needs to be buffed so that her ult can return to it's old state of one shotting entire teams, her E needs to be an AoE stun nuke, and her passive should give her 500 movement speed that scales up to 50,000 movement speed at level 18.
But yeah, you can really carry any game with any champion in any role given you have the experience and the luck your team isn't going to feed and will cooperate. I've carried games going 36-1 as Sona Mid, 10-1 as AD Janna Jungle, AP Galio Jungle, AD Lulu Top, AP Poppy Mid (which is quite scary actually), etc.
What I'm trying to say is regardless of how hard you can carry with a champion doesn't reflect that champion's actual strength in a lot of cases. If you're going 40-0 in every game with a 100% winrate, then obviously something is quite wrong. But carrying most games you play with a certain champion doesn't change anything about their strength, just means you're really good with them.
Pretty sure the best game I've had with MF was 38-1 a week ago and I got full build by 30 minutes into the game and I didn't even buy boots I think. And no before one of those clever trolls huehuehue comment, it was not a bot game and was a legit game.
I didn't say MF couldn't carry. I'm just calling you out.
WELP, that's the boards in the nutshell.
Remember kids, Yasuo is underpowered and so is Katarina don't let anything fool you. The REAL freelo is Kayle and Taric.
I believe i understand what you're getting at, but let me explain why it doesn't work that way.
Win rates =/= relative strength, especially when you factor in skill floors, and coordination. Certain champions like
and
pray upon miscommunication, poor matchmaking, and the lack of coordination in SoloQ, snowballing or simply being to difficult to handle if done poorly. The Donger is the perfect example! He consistently has one of the highest win rates in SoloQ, because failure to communicate and coordinate properly will result in him turning ganks into suicides, and so forth. People also have a terrible habit of learning exclusively ONE champion or role in SoloQ as its a generally a GOOD way to rank up, which when confronted by a champion like this, in a bad situation... well you know what happens. You only play Vi jungle? Well you're stuck laning against The Donger mid, because 3/5ths of our team mains jungle... have fun(These types of matches don't always happen, but they happen enough to affect his win rate)! Now if you look at ranked 5s you will see his win rate drops an entire 5%, while other champions have almost identical win rates or higher! Why? Because again there are champions that are simply better in the chaos that is SoloQ. Then if you take it further, you will see these champions almost NEVER appear in competitive as they are more coordinated. In fact it was an especially big deal when Shaco was used in competitive and won, as it is insanely rare. Despite him being a well noted nightmare in SoloQ. Pick rates are also important. As a champion like Malzahar is likely only to be played by people who play him frequently, giving him a higher win rate on average than a popular champion played by beginners. Which leads me to skill floors. Champions like Lee sin have fairly high skill floors lowering the overall win rate greatly, as even experienced players will make more mistakes because of this. While a simple champion like Garen will have higher win rates than him, even when weaker. As Garen can not make as big, or even as many mistakes depending on skill level(I in fact love Garen, but i say this as its true). However this once again leads to the nature of champion's design, and there is NOTHING wrong with simple champions, although they will generally win more than complex ones statistically.
Now if you were to say champions should be balanced around SoloQ thats an entirely different matter, and i'm still not quite sure which area champions SHOULD be balanced around myself. Should we focus on SoloQ, 5s, 3v3s, LCS/Pro play... what? Champions differ just from rank to rank, not to mention gameplay environments and maps. Hell ARAM win rates are dramatically different from summoners rift. Is it wise to balance them entirely around SoloQ and the Rift? That i can't say...
TL:DR There isn't a short explanation for this however there are a multitude of reasons why win rates are impacted by game environments(and maps), and even kit design... rather than actual overall strength. This is why champions that are considered OP sometimes have low win rates in normals or SoloQ, and champions considered weak have very high win rates. Pick rates and skill floors can also affect this, skewing the numbers higher or lower than they otherwise would be in a different circumstance.
Normals. Who cares?
Normals. Who cares?
Yes, normals against players 1 tier above me, and 3 tiers above you. Definitely don't matter, huh. I would do the same in ranked seeing as my opponents are worse in ranked than they are in normals.
That's easy to claim and difficult to prove. Claiming that you, a Plat 5, are going against nothing but full-on Diamond players for all of those games is bold. Really bold. Besides, people tend to tone their power level down in normals regardless. You could be Challenger and I'd never take normals seriously. Not disrespect, but unless it's a ranked game mode, it holds little merit to me. That's not just LoL. That's gaming in general.
Edit: I did see you went in one game against a full on team of Diamonds 2 days ago and thought I was about to seriously eat my words, but the game before it had a Gold anyway so eh...point still stands that normals vary skill much more than I care for.

Account is actually unranked and not Plat5 as you won't find those games on this account. You're also forgetting most people don't play soloq primarily, so this whole toning down thing doesn't happen as often as you think, afterall there is constant complaints about uneven normal matchmaking for a reason. Even featured game modes end up taken seriously.
I personally can't play soloq since well, I usually play with 4 people and I only jungle on this account anyways unless forced not to.
Nice job covering for yourself bud. I suppose theres another challenger smurf you have too.

I did in fact state it was unranked, it was actually the first 4 words of my response. Gj randomly hating for no reason though.

Pick One
I'd rather not pick either. You can have both pieces of garbage if you'd like.
With exception to Elise (my condolences, Elise players), none of the 4 champions you mentioned are garbage. The meta doesn't favor them right now, but that doesn't mean they're garbage. They're still strong but right now other strategies are open that they don't necessarily excel at, while strategies they do excel at aren't quite as wide open as before.

Pick One
I almost choked on my drink xD
Extremely weak?
Hmm, wonder why all of them other than elise are still played at the pro level. I guess pros have no idea that they are supposed to be weak.
Some people equate "doesn't fit as well in the meta as others" to mean "these champions are garbage and should never be played", hence why some champions get buffs they don't need to fit in a meta that they weren't made for, so when the meta changes guess who came out too strong?
While that does happen with some champs, Lee, LB, and Zed have ALWAYS been very strong to downright OP.
The 'League of Know-it-alls' seems the most accurate to me.
'League of the unfortunate Lack of Counters' if I wanted to describe the roster.
but thats to long to say
Lets just call it LODKUMWDPKPHPDWTAAHE then.
Now, say that name 5 times quickly in out loud, without biting your tongue.
10/10 would say again
