You want to pay 950 gold for WHAT?

your little item 3098 upgrades into a little sightstone at 500 gold.. ok fine

but you expect me to pay 950 gold to get 15 AP, 200 hp, and a 4th ward slot?

what a complete fucking waste of an item slot

becuase thats the ONLY difference between THAT (which i cant link) and item 3092

you call that slot efficiency?

the only reason i would EVER upgrade that is when my other 5 items are complete and i already bought item 2139 ...

thats what you fucking deleted item 3312 for... disgraceful

You're a mage support player that's just looking for an excuse not to ward, are you?

LOL no what im saying you you dont NEED to upgrade it to item 3092 to GET the wards...

you get then on just item 3098 once you reach 500 gold from the passive

THEY ARE FREE the ONLY thing you get for 950 cost of upgrading it is 200 hp and 15 ap

Ability power has a gold value of Gold 21.75 per point. Health has a gold value of Gold 2.67 per point.

200 hp = 534 gold 15 hp = 326.25 gold

=i am paying 950 gold for 860.25 gold worth of stats and a 4th ward spot

on an item that is already 159% slot efficient? WITHOUT the gold income passive

why on earth would i do that?

so you can ward more and help the team, if you want to.

You're a mage support player that's just looking for an excuse not to ward, are you?

the stupidity of this statement is astounding... first off you easily view either my post history to see im pissed about this change becuase i can't get ruby sightstone anymore and that i lost item 3312

your can view my match history to look that i i grab a sightstone every game as my first item after i finish item 3098

or you could even play a single game as support and learn that item 3098 upgrades to "eye of frost" absolutely free at 500 tribute gold. and acts as its own sightstone with 3 ward slots.

upgrading item 3098 to item 3092 costs 950 gold and only gives 15 ap and 200 hp in raw stats and a 4th ward slot the total price of those is 860.25 gold

therefore by upgrading "eye of frost" to item 3092 not only am i wasting gold. but i am delaying my next item to get only raw stats at a cost of more than they are worth

there is absolute no reason to upgrade eye of frost into item 3092 unless you are maxed on on gold and items and already have a item 2139

Cost Analysis = cost 850 gold Gold Value

20 ability power = Gold 435
10% cooldown reduction = Gold 266.67
50% base mana regeneration = Gold 250
Total Gold Value = Gold 951.67

Gold Efficiency*

Eye of Frost item Eye of Frost is 111.96% gold efficient without its passive and active effects.

active effect gold cost = sight stone value = 400 gold

gold efficiency with sightstone total gold value 1351.76

=159.03% gold efficient

item 3092

Cost Analysis*Edit Gold Value

35 ability power = Gold 761.25
10% cooldown reduction = Gold 266.67
200 health = Gold 533.33
50% base mana regeneration = Gold 250
Total Gold Value = Gold 1811.25

Gold Efficiency*

Remnant of the Watchers item Remnant of the Watchers is 100.63% gold efficient without its passive and active.

with sightstone cost efficiency priced at 400 gold (becuase we already bought the ruby)

it is 122.8% gold efficent

and thats great and all

except i just payed 950 gold and lost 37% slot efficiency..

so why would i do that?

EDIT updated math... sight-stone passive value is 400 gold not 800 corrected math and numbers to reflect this

I think you answered your own question:

Just don't T3 it.

You have plenty of sight access on just T2 + whatever trinket you have.
