Why does everyone only play op/meta picks in urf

Because metas are still a thing and people want to win. Why pick weaker things just to lose? Losing isnt fun. This has happened literally every time U.R.F came up and it will literally never change.

You won't convince these guys, just save your breath and let them cry it out.

Losing is never fun to me, and I always want to win. However, I don't just pick the strongest picks, I pick anything I feel really in general. I've gotten 30+ mastered 5 champions, I doubt 80% of the community have more than 3. So I've be able to get an S on anyone easily, so I have no problem myself.

I kinda hate the hypocrisy in league players. For example banning someones champion on your team in champ select, people flame you then say "let him play who he wants". This is the same people asking for more bans, and wanting people to stop playing "power" picks in Urf. How about you guys just let them play who they want? It goes both ways

Most people want to win I would say. Honestly I don't care if I win or lose and what I do dislike is shorter games 20-30 minute ones regardless of how good or bad I'm doing I prefer 30-50 minute ones. Guess I'm the very very minority though based on people I have met.
