I feel the elder drake buff lasts a bit too short isn't it?

So...The baron buff lasts 3min 30secconds, while the elder drake lasts only 2 min. The elder dragon does good amount of damage to champions, so when you finish it you will need to recall most likely. Therefore the amount of time you can actually capitalize on the elder buff is about only 2-3 waves. I feel like 3 or more drakes are needed for a elder buff be relative to trade with the baron buff. Consider the risk of taking an elder and baron are pretty close now, I think elder dragon buff should last a bit longer. Plus the elder dragon spawns 10 min after taking which is ridiculous long. I just feel 30seconds or 45seconds more on the elder buff fits more compared to the risk of taking it. Consider the old 5th drag buff lasts 3 min and the goal of updating the whole dragon system.

I am very conflicted on this for the following reasons

having elder= Auto win any team fight

however

In casual ranked games (not pro play) like you said almost any time u get it, ur team will want to back which wastes a good 30 seconds to a whole minute on the buff. Sometimes in normal games you will get it and not even get to use it at all.

However in pro play The moment pro teams get it on the lcs, they make sure they will not have to back, and simply charge down mid and end the game

What I believe the solution is?

Nerf the damage/stats Buff the timers

This will make it so it is no longer a buff that guarntees you a victory in any team fight, but now a buff that buffs your stats but not to the point where all forms of out play are mathmatically impossible, and allows your team to plan in how you want to use it.

nerf the true damage and increase the duration. its not good for typical games but it would be too strong for pro play.
