Jax has 5100 games (/monthly) played in NA dia only, even Aatrox has 1000+ games played every month in diamond. Hashinshin's 52% winrate on Jax over 300 games in S7 or 50% winrate on Aatrox over 124 games in S6 doesn't matter at all.

Erractic Eick1 votesAs a Jax main, you can still succeed, but it's just a bit complicated these days. There are less choices that you can make about your playstyle these days than there used to be. You nearly always have to open with your stun, instead of triggering it halfway through a fight to lure your opponent into false security. On hit builds are less successful than, say, S5, where you could infinitely stack Devourer to supplement your ultimate's on hit magic damage, thus allowing you to build more tanky.
There things Jax is known for: attack speed, hybrid damage, and immense build variety are often times at the front of the nerf hammer, often times because of Marksmen skewing the power of certain items that Jax needs. That saddens me.

This rework seems kinda strange. because the stats on the item itself aside from the 15% lifesteal appear absolutely subpar but the % damage thing is still there.
It almost seems like Riot want to push to build this. More AD for better usage of the crits and a slow that extends on autos = impossible to escape.

Fondling Gems1 votesI am not sure Ezreal actually auto attacks fast enough for him to be a big abuser of it. Plus he already has IBG slows so I don't think that the slow active will actually be overbearing on him. He will like the raw stat changes a lot though, he never did buy it for the AS.

Ezreal's passive gives AS each time he hit's something with any of his abilities and BotRK is the only life steal item that completes the blue build. Comebine this with the IBG slow and anyone with out gap closers will never touch him.

Even though he gets the AS boost compared to a lot of ADC's Ezreal doesn't auto much, he prefers to poke enemies down. He also liked the old active because it would partially heal him which synergized very well with staying alive on him. The new movespeed slow is better but doesn't offer anything IBG doesn't already.

WiegrafOfValor2 votesGhostblade was made to help Fighters and Bruisers that doesn't have gap closers to engage and keep up with squishy targets with mobility (Like ADCs) and not to be used by ADCs that already have mobility to kite Fighters and Bruisers.
#Not making it Melee only, the item is doing the opposite of what it was created to do.

Pretty sure they intended ADCs to get the item with this change especially when they mentioned the reason for the change way to make it better on ADCs early game. Either way I still believe this new thing added to the active is dumb. Just give it like 150 damage so you don't lose damage from Cutlass' active on purchase.
