Seriously, is the reason that we cannot have anything nice in the support meta. Any improvement to would be snapped up by this greedy bastard who already has better items and a better kit then most people in the game (Ult - Free Massive AD Nuke Dmg (More powerful then a Q+Ult), Free Knock-up and Free Displacement).

However I have a solution.

Turn into what is now for junglers. With , you can ONLY get this if you go so why not make better and then make a SUPPORT-ONLY spell. It locks Lee Sin out from taking any of these items, as well as (who ward hops too) and keeps these items good for exclusive supports.

Or Riot do you just want to admit now that you don't care about supports as much as junglers in order to do this?

EXACTLY the same could be said for and it being spammed on every AP midlaner in the game. Make these items EXCLUSIVE only to supports.

It is, this is exactly the reason that supports cannot have nice items, because non-supports abuse them. It was the same with jungle items until the change to make smite needed for getting them.

It's a long-standing equilibrium: they get our items nerfed, we get their characters nerfed. Ultimately, though, locking supports into Exhaust to access their power isn't a great idea. On Janna, fine, but I don't want Exhaust on Leona.

Why not, Riot has admitted they've had problems with items not being used in their intended fashion and this would do a load towards restoring game balance.

Make assassins unable to take summoner 4 and I'll take the deal.

If not, as a support I I 95% of times will run ignite.

then lee sin would just take smite and exhaust??? yeah flash is important, but for a full item that builds wards too, he would just take both, and you cannot make it so certain champs cannot take a specific summoner spell, because in theory you could actually play off-meta picks in any role. It's the same as old top laner who used to take smite for the jungler item and then either take gromp or krugs with it for the buff.
