What you people need to realize

The "Damage Dealt" in the graph does NOT determine how good someone was.

You could have all of the damage in the world, but 1 damage every 10 seconds for a billion seconds means nothing compared to 1000 damage in one second.

WHEN the damage is dealt is what matters. If your damage dealt was all against minions and was over a super long period of time, while someones small damage was in bursts, that's what matters.

It needs replaced by average damage per second for the whole game.

Even then, it doesn't matter. If you are 9/7 and the entire team wastes everything to kill you in a teamfight and your team mops them up, you are clearly a huge threat and are doing your team a favor taking the hit for them.

PLEASE stop acting like "damage dealt" means something. Yes, supports can deal more damage than carries if they are split pushing taking turrets, or building gold to be a threat in a teamfight. That doesn't mean anything.

agree to some extent. Obviously it does mean something but alot of the time it doesnt mean shit. I had 3rd most damage last game that I went 12-4-12. Did I carry the living shit out of that game? hell yeah I did. Did I do the most damage? nope but I didnt need to.

There is a damage dealt to champions filter.

The graph for DPS will look the exact same as the graph for damage dealt.

no, it wont.

Someone who has 30k damage dealt over long period will have the same DPS as someone who had 15k in bursts. As compared to the current graph of having double damage overall

DPS is over the entire game is exactly the same as damage dealt, since every has the same game length
