the key to using this trick? the second you see an exclamation point over your head drop it onto yourself.

if you're alone you're still fucked. if you're with your team they WILL SPOT HIM and if they don't do anything to stop him then its no longer he has no counterplay. it's your team sucks at peeling

oh yeah? you're saying if your team in soloq see's a rengar revealed in stealth they won't hop on him?

i hate the soloQ excuse. and god damn would an earlier than normal GA not solve this problem too?

its like you refuse to try and find a way to beat him because it's easier to cry that he's OP

Early GA is a horrible decision for any carry. It costs so much money that you will be behind for the next 15 minutes since you won't be able to do any damage.

Also, Rengar's leap range is high enough that when you see him, he is all over you. Add into the equation that good Rengar players will wait in a bush or around a corner and pop the ult at the last second. You are dead before your pink ward even hits the ground.

whats a worse decision, not buying an early GA and maybe forgoing some kills and some damage for 15 minutes, or buying a GA earlier than last item slot and potentially NOT feeding the rengar?

I understand where you are coming from, but if you are at the point where you are going to buy GA early, Rengar is already fed. Your better off going damage and hoping your team can peel him so you can burn him down.

I don't even think he's op... Sure he can burst you pretty easily, but even beyond vision and planning, certain adc's aren't overly affected by him. For example, I've been playing Quinn lately, you see the !, pop into Valor, and as soon as he's visible Q him - instant blind. Rengar isn't a threat imo. I don't like when he's on my team.

Yeah, umm no. His jump range is pretty much the same as detection range with the Vision ward. All you are doing is seeing him butt fuck you, not preventing it. MAYBE if the radius was larger, maybe.

its not like he can instantly gib you when he first gets his ult unless he has 5 stacks saved prior to jumping on you, and even then it's not instant. he has to jump, empowered Q, W, empowered E, then Q you to gib. takes a minimum of 2-4 seconds to get that full combo off

By the time you see the indicator he's already jumping on you... If he didn't get to leap with ult, then maybe, but it seems like everyone who suggests pink wards forget he gets to leap and even kill the target before he's actually on top of them.

hence why i said drop the pink ward ON YOU

if it's right on top of you he runs the risk of accidentally clicking the ward. it's the same principle of smiting baron or drag with blue smite. to deny, just run right up on the monster and hope the cursor picks you

He already targeted you, and again, if you're a squishy target he can kill you before the leap animation is completed. The only counter play to a Rengar who can 100-0 you mid leap is scripting with a Zhonyas in your inventory.
