Reports don't do shit. Because apparently it's not against the rules to smurf and pubstomp Out of the last 4 ranked games i played. There was a smurf (fresh account high 90-100% wr) in the games. It's fucking ridiculous. But no one cares to do anything about it i guess
They have to allow smurfs. Banning accounts makes it look like Rito punishes bad behavior. Smurfing allows those same people to feed their addiction, but also potentially still give Rito money, and artificially inflate player numbers. Rito wins all around.

In all fairness on my main i ended last season in plat 5 and on one of my smurfs i did freash placements and won 7/8 And got placed iron 2 somehow with 8 cs/min avg and average kda of at least 5:1 so its really not a surprise i am having around a 70% w.r on my climb. Placements are just fked rn. I went amd tried flex. One team had 2 bronze and 3 low gold the other team had a plat and 4 gold. Balance just dosnt exist right now. They should have rolled all the ranks back or at least dont a soft reset but havnt. Ranked ao far this season is a joke. I have no odea how i can place gold 2 on one account ans with the same preformance on another account place in silver. (I have around 5 or 6 accs in total)
Do you want this to change? Stop playing.
This isn't a cynical response, I'm serious: Just stop consuming their product. People getting multiple smurf accounts and potentially feeding them cash by buying stuff for those accounts is something Riot capitalises on. There are dozens upon dozens of relatively popular YouTubers doing stuff like this in broad daylight for everyone to see, and the videos are almost invariably framed as: "Haha look at these idiots look at how easy this is." And seeing people rage is funny, so it generates views. And if it generates views, it's free publicity. Again, Riot ONLY stands to gain from this.
The only way to make Riot do something about this is if this phenomenon costs them more money than it nets them. If everyone angry about smurfs stopped buying RP and potentially stopped playing altogether, it would go a hell of a lot further than just complaining to them.
Trust me on this: They don't care.
Low ranked players complain that high rank players have low rank accounrs.... high rank players complain that low rank players get boosted or buy high rank accounts.
Smurfs will generally be booted out of the lower leagues of ranks faster, but lower ranks might not be booted out of higher ranks at all due to there being able to be carried by the other 4.
Also, unless they are EXTREMELY good.... you pretty much were stating that they had maybe 10 games? Into ranked at all. By 100 ill bet they have like 60-75% depending, trust me, the more games you play the more it evens out.
Its really fun playing against duo ques too. Sorry, but I have no sympathy for your complaints about smurfing being unfair when you duo que.
True, fighting smurfs is a hell of a challenge. Really pushes your abilities to their limits and makes you grow as a player.

... Yeah.. Reports don't do anything because it's not against the rules. I'm sorry your games didn't seem fair, but it's not like they were doing anything against TOS.
And how would you even be able to tell if someone is just really good or if someone is a smurf? Eventually the smurfs will be put in their correct place so it's not like a permanent thing.
It's about money brah, nothing else. The better solution, compared to what exists now, would be sending naughty accounts to Jail. When you get banned now, you start up new account, have to play some unranked games, have to level your runes, play some cpu games, etc. Even when people are terribly toxic in this game, it's usually the result of having played this game enough to become toxic because Riot doesn't really do anything about it. It's not justifiable, but understandable. Also, when get banned and start new account, you just have less respect for whole Riot system, and become less likely to become 'positive player.'
When you misbehave, Riot should send back to go to relearn how to play properly instead of closing account. Send players to digital jail. Undo all the checkmarks they needed to play in ranked and ideally even blind. Make them play cpu after boring cpu game to get account unlocked again. Not time so it can be waited out. Not closure that can be bipassed. People are attached to their account names, skins, etc. One, or maybe even one plus extended stay through cpu games would convince most to chill the F out.
Almost exactly what happens now, except these people wouldn't be on second accounts ruining game for new players.
