So many smurfs...even in normals?

I'm noticing a lot of this...but for some reason, I seem to be pitted against even more smurfs than usual.

Then again, it makes sense in that I've been rotting around Bronze elo for far too long and have been fighting against people at my low level of skill. :P And as usual, expect nothing but those said smurfs to express nothing but contempt and calling me [insert racial slur here] lol.

I would love to buy better champions, but these losses aren't giving me enough blue essence and/or exp to level up for capsules.

Well since Riot has been banning/suspending people for really dumb shit of course there's going to be some players who just want to play the game. So they make a new account. Very common more now than before in my experience. Riot's policy has become more draconian and SJW.

smurfs being more common is due to it being the start of the ranked season. new season, new smurfs. it let's them play ranked with and boost their friends. kinda necessary to make a smurf to do a ranked to blank series. also, a lot of people come back at season start..
