Instead of buffing him, the first thing Riot should do is fixing his Alpha Strike to not take unintended damage all over the place.

Or at least take off its stupid stealth cast time for a start.

i think the problem is that most of the time people rush item 3153 on yi. after item 3715 i just build like this and the speed that yi can get completely out of control like this is almost unlike any other champion ive played

item 3031 item 3087 item 3046 item 3508 its honestly crazy once you hit around 70% crit

Randomly, I've found great success with Hydra, Death's Dance, Essence Reaver and Blood Thirster. You just don't die, lol. It's great when you're almost, almost a tank because you just never ever take enough damage to get through the Death's Dance.
