Can we give Zed more rewards for doing well in a game?

I always feel like when I do well with Zed, I never really get rewarded for it. Like the moment I get out of laning phase I don't seem to have much impact on the game, other than split pushing or getting a pick off on someone. I know Zed's not a Hyper Carry, but he should be at least in some way be able to carry a game when fed without having to make super ungodly plays, to have an impact.

Like whenever I do well with my main Yasuo, like go 8 and 3 in lane. I just destroy everyone like I should, for doing extremely well and being rewarded for doing well, while the other team being punished for letting me get out of hand so easily and so quickly.

With Zed its just kinda ehh, he'll probably kill our Adc but thats about it. We'll just destory the rest of the team because Zed's irrelevant when he doesn't have his ult up. Or at least somewhat during a team fight, since your cool downs are to long to be able to use again in a fight.

It may just be me playing with Zed but I've played him over 300 times (In normals and Ranked). During my time playing this game. And not many of those times do I feel like I have a real impact even when I'm fed.

I don't recommend just out right buffing him, but maybe make him scale a bit better when he has items? (More damage with bonus AD)

its because Zed has the highest counterplay out of any champion and assassin in the game, the most they could do is increase costs on certain items that counter him.

Both zhonyas and QSS are extremely cheap and a lot of champs and most new champs have abilities that negate zeds ultimate.

AKA tahm kench worst nightmare for zed

or getting a pick off on someone.

You're playing an ASSASSIN. That's what they DO.

Katarina and Talon are assassins? They have 10x more impact then Zed when fed. Lol

Not necessarily. Zed has much more room for outplay potential, compared to a Talon or Katarina. Katarina's R can be stopped by CC, while Zed's R actually becomes untargetable. Talon's kit is very stale, and his escapes can only be used on enemy minions. Once he jumps in, he isn't getting out. Much like Katarina without a reset enabler. Zed's (W?) gives him a nontargeted escape or engage. Assassins are not meant to hard carry, and a good Zed has a lot of impact on a game when ahead, just as most champions do. His pick potential is all he needs to help his team win a fight. He isn't supposed to 1v5.

talon can use his shadow assault to escape :x

R? Yeah, I guess he can. My bad. I had it in my head as him using E > R to get in and deal damage. Instead of E in, W and then R out LOL.

Usually Talon will ult then E in, to get damage off, or else he'll be pretty pointless in a teamfight - but it is a perfectly viable escape to R out if he gets caught as it's on a pretty low cd, so overlooking that was my bad. Thanks! Sorry for missing that.

the range on his e is pretty trash tho i agree so u kinda have to flash in if u want to ult out.. or just hope the opponent is a fool

Not Katarina1 votes

Yeah, I completely agree. It's just to give some counterplay instead of jumping in and then jumping out after getting all your damage off, which is pretty nice.

his E has 700 range... i think its pretty good

When Talon gets ahead, he can easily kill a target with E+AA+Q+W Sometimes you dont even use W... if the first auto critically strike

Yeah! That's why I said it was my bad and added R to his escapes. Thanks! :D

Zed also has more room for counterplay (which makes sense, because his laning is so good). Talon, on the other hand, needs someone with super low ping and fast reflexes, as a good talon can dish put their full combo within about half a second.

I agree. But he's not very sticky, and if you play a mobile champion or one with a blink he's easily jumped away from. It's easy to notice when Talon E's onto you.

And yeah, his laning phase is kinda bad. Not the worst, but nothing like Zed's. I don't play Talon that much, so I can't say too many good/bad things about him. But he is quite standard/stale as far as assassin's go.

You play a weak champion like Zed and complain that you can't hard carry a game? lol.

I just got rekt in lane by a Zed as Vladimir but yeah I just waited it out for the lategame and compared to me the Zed just became irrelevant

I feel like that's an issue with Vlad, not Zed. I'm probably just horribly biased against Vlad, though. God I hate him. T:

i feel the same thing happens against mid laners like Viktor Ahri Xerath because they just do so much more damage to so many more targets at once -- you lose out on a lot by running a zed in mid instead of a conventional mage or an assassin with strong aoe like Talon or Katarina, but i guess zed does have decent aoe if he lands his shadow combo properly
