The dude had a crap ton of accounts perma banned, he had dozens of chances. I'm sorry but maybe he should have reformed after the FIRST BAN?
Riot gave him chances, a lot, the guy wasn't just being a complete douche, he publicly showed it off like it was amusing.
Being a dick head for so long and all of a sudden being like "I'm reforming after years of a complete douche!" isn't going to cut. I'm happy Riot banned him forever.

DeloricVI7 votesI agree. I read the post, and, even though it has 1.4k downvotes (currently, and probably increasing as I type), I think Tyler deserves it based on the info availible. If he has that many permabanned accounts that Riot actually notices, that's a lot of BS going on. Odds are, if Riot actually noticed, "Hey, this guy has had several accounts all permabanned for similar reasons, and he's kind of an asshole," I personally don't want this guy to keep coming back to the community and being a nuisance.

People can be mildly toxic and not get banned. Streamers like N3ac3y are somewhat toxic in chat, but they aren't toxic to the point of Tyler1. Riot is okay with you being slightly toxic to your teammates. If they feel comfortable with how they were treated in game you're 100% safe. People will only stay after and report you if you made them feel like shit, or if they felt great playing with you.

A ban on sight does not prevent him from playing. It does prevent him from streaming. In fact Tyler1 has been banned on sight because he was streaming.
High elo is just toxic. Tyler1 is just a bit more toxic. The issue that high elo is toxic stays.
Tyler1 can still play. Riot didn't got our back. They just try to convince us that they are listening... nice try tho.

The problem with high elo is that people take the game much more serious then in low elo and they argue about mistakes much more. The tendency to get toxic in high elo is much bigger then in low elo and this has nothing to do with league of legends. This is in every multiplayer competitive game the case.
So, yes I still blame it on the elo.
In my opinion Riot mixed up the two things. A toxic player who is streaming and a toxic player who is not streaming, is for the people who play the game the same problem. They only made this statement to prevent Tyler1 from streaming while they can't handle the problem itself... but they try to make us believe that they can handle the problem. And this is why I downvote.

Riot would literally have to change the family dynamic in america and make sure kids are properly taught manners in order to clean up high elo toxicity.
