Honestly is there any reason to play AP Lucian or AP MF besides trolling?

For a long time I main AP Lucian believing that Im off meta and AP Lucian is just as good as AD Lucian. While I love AP Lucian, I feel that he is just lacking in that kill pressure. Unless I land his W and most of his ult, he is not getting that kill. And with champs being so mobile these days, its really hard to land the full ult.

AP MF just plain does less damage in every-way when compared to AD MF. It used to be that AP MF ult did more damage, but then they changed her ult to scale with crit and now both her autos and ult do more damage. There is just no reason to play AP mf.

When you look at AP Ez, he is viable with a distinct poke/burst playstyle when compared to the poke/sustain playstyle of his AD build path.

I'm not asking for AP Luc and AP MF to be better than their intended build path, I'm just saying their AP counter parts are outdated and needs some love.
