I hate these new runes not because of the runes, but because of blue essence

I've played for YEARS do you know how many champions I could have bought if I hadn't bought all of those runes for all those different champions and all those playstyles? All of them! And now the IP I sinked into those said runes are gone! Poof. You made no progress. And now its harded to get BE(IP) because muh level 31 is a ridiculous grind that will just get worst. Sorry if you focused more on runes than champs, you're just shit out of luck.

Dude, I focused more on champs then runes because I was confident in my skill to fight people without runes SPECIFIC to that champion. I had 2 rune pages, one for flat AP and armor, and one for flat AD and armor. Now I have 40 different champions and 2 rune pages that I have to change every game. This is just one big mess.

You could have bought like a staple set such as flat armor/MR or the scaling variety, and then a selection of runes for AP, AD, and Tanks, and have been squared away pretty well, as Masteries tended to carry a lot more weight in the long run and were so much more adaptable. So buying loads of runes for every play style was a personal choice and overkill. You chose to buy loads of runes instead of champions. At least you got a good chunk of BE back that you can put towards new champs.

Yeah, Riot was a prick for not returning 100% of rune costs in the form of BE. Cause the amount we get is no where near the amount we spent...even counting the blue essence 6.5 multiplier.
