Shes a giant freaking sadistic spider lady and shes so caca now. ;( I miss my Spider Queen. I hope Riot does something meaningful with her soon. Shes so fun to play and watch.

The thing about elise is when she is strong, she is too strong compared to other junglers. when she is weak, she isn't even worth playing, even if she is a favorite champ of mine. try playing full AP assassin, or just go cinder hulk, rylais, liandry's, then full tank and be a shredder that can clean up but still be really tsnky.

Right now I feel like she is just a semi-tanky cocoon bot :/

She could easily be buffed to the level of Lee Sin. Elise might be a generalist but there's no excuse for her being worse than every other generalist jungler.

I'd much rather nerf the other generalists into Elise's tier and specialize them from there than drop Elise back into balance hell.

Why? Nobody is complaining about Jarvan right now and he's a generalist. Vi is a generalist and doesn't get many complaints and Lee Sin isn't getting too much hate either. Elise can be decent without being a problem, other generalists prove it.

She was at Lee sin level at one point... that's why we are here now xD she was over nerfed for sure, but I would rather just see a small rework that focuses more on her neurotoxin or spiders, but that's just me.

No thank you. Season 3 elise was the most cancerous thing. Ever played against her top when her Q had 50 mana costs at all levels and did more damage?

I agree, actually wish they'd gear her toward a lane assassin. Currently four out of nine Shadow isle champs are jungler's ( Evelynn Elise Hecarim Maokai ) and three of those four are currently geared so heavily towards jungling that they don't get much love for playing on lane( Elise Evelynn and somewhat Hecarim )

Yeah, if you look at her original concept and spotlight she was supposed to be a mage/assassin like Nid (although more geared towards in-your-face %HP burst than spamming BS spears until you get a hit). And honestly, that would have been pretty cool if it had worked. Sadly, people figured out you could build her as an AP bruiser and it all went downhill from there.

Well the thing is that her spiders and on-hit damage and her AS steroid doesn't really do much if you try to assassinate someone and kill them quickly... as well AS/on-hit/spiders are more DPS focused then burst/assassination focused

Oh and % damage is usually bad for assassins as they generally try and go for the squishy APC and ADC so for them flat damage is usually the best

She is listed as a Mage/Fighter. I don't know if they changed that at some point, but it is possible that she was supposed to be built something like a bruiser. I wouldn't be surprised, her kit looks more bruiser-like than assassin-like (AS steroid, heal, enhanced auto attacks, low cooldown short range gap closer). She even had some built in resists on her spider form once.

Her AP scaling is bad and she will get blown up instantly. Might be more fun as assassin but you are more likely to lose that way.

Her AP scaling is quite good compared to her base values, especially on her sustain (1%:1AP) and percent damage(1%:2.67AP). Average skills on mages bounce around 1%:3.5AP or 1%:4AP, in contrast. She also has more sources of AP power than most mages (2 Q's, Human W, Spider W sustain, Spider AA, Spiderling AA). Her issue is that it's next to impossible to land all of it on a mobile target, even with a landed cocoon. Assassins need to land their skills, and that's next to impossible most of the time on Elise, especially during a teamfight.

The percent damage and sustain ratios are actually why she was so good as an AP bruiser. She was quite good at shredding tanks as long as she could stand up to them. However, with tanking becoming less and less viable, she's been like a fish out of water, as she needs a bit of AP + tankiness to be viable. Going for both makes her far too non-tanky for the League at the moment.
