Knights Vow and Zeke's Harbinger

Hey guys, Was just thinking about how much I actually LOVE the movement speed towards my ally with Knight's Vow, but I actually kinda wish the Chain Vest had that passive (obviously a different item would be needed) and I really wish that Zeke's Harbinger had that same kind of passive. Sooo, I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if there were an armor item that built into both of these that gave that binding effect with just movement speed towards the ally? Then, Zeke's harbinger could build from said item and Lost Chapter, which would be a really nice change from Glacial Shroud IMO given the mana/AP/level up mechanic. The CDR might be kinda missed, but eh?

that would be nice imo but lets face it even if they did do that that wouldn't stop the rush of item 3107 item 3190

I'm not disagreeing, but every little thing helps. I think if Redemption scaled off of your own health itd push it towards tanks, and I think Locket is in a good spot. I often rush Ardent over Locket as well on champs like Lulu and Janna, so I cant say I wouldnt get Zekes if it was a little more streamlined.

I think redemption should be an Item for enchanter-supports and not for tank-supports otherwise they should change the stats

I personally think that a healing item that can be used while dead that uas a delay should be something special for champions like Leona who engage, may die, and otherwise have no way of healing or gaining shield bonused for items like locket and fotm. Leona cant build Mikaels or Ardent Censer really, whereas Redemption is a really nice way for her to contribute to her team. Meanwhile, I think redemption detracts from alternative choices for Enchanters because it gives them a large heal and bonus shielding and healing, which already synergizes with their kits too well IMO.

The ative would fit for leona, but I hate the stats, it should have armor or mr then or make a second redemption wit other stats and balance them acordingly

I mean, probably could do with another 100 hp tbh, but overall there should be sacrifice associated with such a strong active. It has the strongest ability in the game if you ask me and its fairly reliable.

At the moment enchanters can use the stats fom item 3107 way better than tanks, so changing the active scaling alone would make no sense

I dont know so much that enchanters use the stats so much better, ita that they synergize better with the % shield and heal plus mikaela and ardent give an additional 30% healing to redemption, makin it the superior item for them because tanks cannot use either other % healing item well. If you make the heal based on your hp, then enchanters will lose a lot of the healing.

I would prefer KV and Zeke's to be better items to upgrade into

a small change would be something like doubling the MS and becoming ghosted towards bonded ally if they're below 50%, or something similar.

zeke's just needs to be reworked to provide different offensive bonuses; crit chance isn't needed and you can't make use of your own % boosts

I like that idea and agree overall. Zekes also feels weird given ardent censers prominence and the lack of ap among supports right now. Definitely could use some love.

All I want form Zeke's is for them to remove the auto activate and turn it into a no cooldown active that requires 100 stacks to activate. Taking away the randomness would go a long way in making it a good item.

or give this new item the CDR, tanky supports are starved on CDR

Thats fair. Maybe like 5%, lowish armor, and the bind effect. Could be solid.

This is a pretty good idea.

Thanks m8.

It's not a great idea to make such items, because you end up with components that only build into 1 or 2 items, which causes poor build path and reduces build flexibility.

Quicksilver sash, bilgewater cutlass, raptor cloak (ohmwrecker doesnt count), bamis cinder, wardens mail, hexdrinker, seekers armguard, lost chapter, gp5 items, aegis of the legion..... ???? All fine items that have predictable outcomes and still work very well.

item 2053 is a shit item on its own. item 3140 item 3144 Strong active. item 3751 item 3082 item 3155 item 3802 are just weaker version of its final item. item 3191 has a unique armor stacking passive that no item shares, might as well be a final item. item 3105 useless without upgrading.

Items like item 1031 feels a lot better to buy since it gives a lot of options to build into.
